As the wait forFromseason 4 continues, it is the perfect time to watch some of the other movies and television shows that the cast has starred in.From’s castis one of the show’s greatest strengths, with an ensemble that brings the show’s horror and drama to life through their riveting performances.Harold Perrineau’s Sheriff Boyd Stevens is the face of the show, but the other actors and characters have been just as important inFrom’s stellar reviewsand in making the series a success.
Fromseason 4’s storywill continue showcasing Perrineau and the rest of the cast as Boyd and the other residents attempt to escape the Town and its horrors. Perrineau was already well-known beforeFrom’s debut for his roles inLost,The Matrixfranchise,Romeo + Juliet, andOz. Plenty of otherFromactors have also starred in entertaining movies and television shows, which paved the way for their memorable roles in the show.

While Perrineau has starred in many memorable movies and shows,Lostis still the best of them. Perrineau plays Michael Dawson, who is one of the Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 plane crash survivors stranded on the mysterious Island. Michael’s story largely revolves around his son, Walt Lloyd (Malcom David Kelley), who was taken away from him at a young age. As Michael searches for a way to escape, he navigates the challenges of his relationship with Walt and his special connection to the Island.
Harold Perrineau’s From Role Thankfully Avoids One Of The Oldest Lost Complaints About Michael Dawson
Both From and Lost sees Harold Perrineau stranded in a mysterious place with his son, but the former shrewdly avoids the mistakes of the latter.
Between being stranded in a mysterious, supernatural location and Perrineau’s character having a complicated relationship with his son,FromrepeatsLostin certain ways.Lostlargely set the precedent for the character-driven and mystery-box storytellingthatFromalso does exceedingly well. Michael’s heartfelt scenes with Walt are among some ofLost’s most emotional moments, as is the scene where Michael makes a dark and shocking decision to try and save his son. As a single father placed in impossible situations, Michael is one of the best parts ofLost.

After losing her job and discovering that she is pregnant, Maria’s desperation leads to her becoming a drug mule. The story that follows is harrowing as Maria smuggles drugs for her employers.

Watching Moreno inMaria Full of Graceis a unique opportunity to see her excel in a different kind of role than Tabitha much earlier in her career.
While Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, and Helena Bonham Carter are the leading stars ofFight Club,From’s Eion Bailey plays an important role as well. Bailey plays Ricky, a young man who is a member of Fight Club and later of Project Mayhem. Along with Jared Leto’s character Angel Face, Ricky is a devout member of Fight Club. He is also the first to join Project Mayhem, even when that requires standing on a porch, being routinely insulted, yelled at, and even hit with a broom before he is accepted.

Some cult classic movies are overrated, butFight Clubis a film that lives up to its reputation, and that remains embedded in popular culture for good reason.
Ricky is nothing like Bailey’sFromcharacter Jim Matthews, who is a concerned father and husband trying to protect his family from monsters and other supernatural threats. The stark contrast, and seeing Bailey interact with Norton and Pitt, are among the many reasonsFight Clubis worth watching.Fight Clubis also a clever satirical take on toxic masculinity anchored by a game-changing plot twist and stellar direction from David Fincher. Some cult classic movies are overrated, butFight Clubis a film that lives up to its reputation, and that remains embedded in popular culture for good reason.

Elizabeth Saunders plays the no-nonsense Donna Raines, who is oneFrom’s best characters. Before playing the character who oversees Colony House and tries to protect its residents from the nocturnal monsters, Saunders played a role in another excellent horror story. In the 2017 adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic horror novelIt, Saunders portrays the Derry librarian Mrs. Starrett. She frequently crosses paths with young Ben Hanscom due to the extensive amount of time that he spends in the library.
Mrs. Starrett is kind to Ben in King’s novel and takes a liking to him.Saunders' depiction of the character is much crueler, as she asks why Ben is in the library reading books during the summer, and even asks him whether he has any friends. Donna is stubborn and forthright inFrom, but she is not cruel, which makes it intriguing to see her play this version of Mrs. Starrett. Those who enjoyFrom’s horror will also enjoyIt. Both stories even begin with a supernatural monster manipulating and then eating a child.

InFrom, David Alpay plays Jade Herrera, who was a successful software developer before becoming trapped in the Town. InSuits, Alpay plays David Fox, who is a real estate developer and the owner of Fox Commercial Leasing. Alpay only appears in three episodes, one in season 7 and two in season 8 out of the 134 episodes inSuits' nine seasons.Even though Fox is not the most prominent character, he fits perfectly into the world ofSuitsand makes an impact in each of his appearances.
How Jade’s Law Of Thermodynamics Theory Connects To From Season 3’s Major Reincarnation Reveal
In the From season 3 finale, Jade presents a theory based on the first law of thermodynamics, which ends up explaining the reincarnation plot twist.
Between its nine-season run, massive viewership on Netflix, and the recent debut of the spinoffSuits LA, the original series is still popular and well worth watching. With streaming, viewers have the option to only watch the three episodes Alpay’s character is in or to watch more of the series. Seeing Fox at work in the business world may also provide a taste of what Jade was like in his business dealings before he became trapped and fixated onsolvingFrom’s many mysteries.

Scott McCord appeared in a wide range of live-action and animated projects before playing Victor Kavanaugh inFrom. One of his best projects isThe Blacklist, which aired for 10 seasons on NBC.The Blacklistfollows the criminal mastermind Raymond Reddington (James Spader) as he works with an FBI task force to track down and apprehend dangerous individuals. McCord plays a character named Baldwin in season 7, episode 6, “Dr. Lewis Powell (No. 130).”
McCord’s immense talent makes it worthwhile to watch any project that he is in, even if he is only in a single episode. Long before McCord makes his series debut,The Blacklistis a compelling show to watch, largely because of Spader’s performance. He makes Reddington an eccentric, charming, brilliant, and unpredictable antihero. There are overarching plot lines, but the series is largely episodic, with almost every episode seeing Reddington and the task force hunting down a different formidable criminal.

Prior to playing the likable Kenny Liu inFrom, Ricky He appeared in four episodes of ABC’sA Million Little Thingsas an advertising executive named Don. The character first debuts in season 1, episode 2 and later returns in three season 2 episodes.A Million Little Thingsfollows a close group of friends after one of them, Jon Dixon (Ron Livingston), takes his own life. One of the friends, Rome Howard (Romany Malco), directs commercials, and it is in his storylines that Don appears.
This may seem nothing likeFrom, butA Million Little Thingsis also a character-driven show with rich relationships between the characters.

The series uses a delicate balance of drama and comedy to explore a wide spectrum of issues, including depression, grief, racism, alcohol and drug addiction, disability, and sexual assault.A Million Little Thingshas frequently been compared toThis Is Usfor their tonal similarities and ability to make audiences cry and laugh. This may seem nothing likeFrom, butA Million Little Thingsis also a character-driven show with rich relationships between the characters, and it is interesting to see Ricky in a smaller role before taking on the larger part of Kenny.
A.J. Simmons' Randall begins as a deeply unlikable character inFrom, but hebecomes more tolerable as the show progresses. Before joining the cast ofFromin season 2, Simmons played Dawson Kliner in Prime Video’s hit seriesReacher. Based on Lee Child’sReacherbooks, the series stars Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher. He deals with many dangerous criminals, including the murderous Dawson, who appears in five season 1 episodes.

Randall makes some poor and dangerous choices inFrom, but Dawson is on another level entirely while commanding a squad of killers.Reacheris an action crime show and not a horror show, but it still features plenty of tension and suspense that leaves viewers on the edge of their seats. Unlike the other shows on this list,Reacherhas not ended yet, with season 3 episodes still being released, and season 4 already renewed. It is a thrilling show to catch up on beforeFromseason 4 premieres.
