Going into the finale,Greg has offered Belinda money, though she is not inclined to take it, despite her son’s warnings about Greg being dangerous. The two younger Ratliff siblings are separated from their family at the moment, but they may be better off asTimothy is still having visions of his murder-suicide plan. Elsewhere,Rick has finally come to terms with his pastand may finally be ready to move on to a happy life, butcomplications are certain to arise for all the guests inThe White Lotus' finale.

6Belinda Will Accept Greg’s Offer, But She Won’t Be Thrilled About It

Zion Warned Her That Greg Was Dangerous

Since recognizing Greg early in the season, Belinda has been walking around on pins and needles, scared of what he could potentially do to her, especially after learning that he was suspected in Tanya’s murder. While Belinda’s invite to Greg’s party actually turned out to be an offer rather than the violent attack that she worried it would be, that does not mean that Belinda is safe yet. After telling Greg that she would think about his offer, her son,Zion, noted that it could be dangerous for Belinda not to accept Greg’s money.

Did Zion Just Reveal Who Dies In The White Lotus Season 3?

The victim teased in The White Lotus season 3, episode 1 is still a mystery, but Zion may have provided the biggest hint yet at who it could be.

From her introduction in season 1,Belinda has always been one of the sweetest characters, working to help others rather than focusing on money as so manyThe White Lotuscharacters do. Though Belinda might not want to take Greg’s money because of how it could connect her to Tanya’s death, she might not have a choice anyway, for her own safety and the safety of her son. Belinda’s son is more important to her than anything, so I could definitely see her taking the money to protect him from Greg but ultimately regretting the decision when she leaves Thailand.

5Chelsea Will Realize She Deserves Better Than Rick

Though She Might Still Choose To Stay With Him

Despite being one of the main couples in this season ofThe White Lotus,Rick and Chelsea have been on largely separate journeys. Chelsea has mostly been hanging out with Chloe and Saxon, though she does not approve of their attitudes towards cheating, and life more generally, in Saxon’s case. Every time something is about to happen, she simply leaves the room and reminds the other characters that she is in love with Rick. In contrast, Rick is on his own mission that does not involve Chelsea at all.

Rick finally gets to find his peace in White Lotus season 3, episode 7 after confronting Jim, but it feels like Chelsea has not gotten to have that same level of growth.

Chelsea is often surrounded by other characters, but in the moments when she attempts to call Rick to ask how he is doing, it is clear that she is actually quite alone. Rick finally gets to find his peace in White Lotus season 3, episode 7 after confronting Jim, but it feels like Chelsea has not gotten to have that same level of growth. She is arguably already one of the healthiest characters in terms of her mindset, so it seems odd that she has not realized that Rick should be treating her better.

Episode 7 included a brief moment between Saxon and Chelsea that hinted at a deeper connection, and seeing him attempt to grow might allow her to see that Rick had never done that for her.

Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) looking astonished in The White Lotus Season 3 Ep 7

On the whole, Chelsea is a very smart character who is mindful of those around her and in tune with some level of spirituality. The outing included a brief moment between Saxon and Chelsea that hinted at a deeper connection, and seeing him attempt to grow might allow her to see that Rick had never done that for her. I think Chelsea’s time in Thailand has made her realize that she deserves better than Rick’s treatment of her, but without any other clear next steps in her life she might still attempt to work things out with him.

4The Gunshots Are From A Shoot-Out Between Gaitok And Valentin

Episode 7 Sets Up A Showdown Between The Two Employees

Things seemed to be looking up for Gaitok at the beginning ofThe White Lotusseason 3, episode 7. He got the gun back from Timothy without anyone finding out, and he was finally going to go on a date with Mook. But duringepisode 7’s Muay Thai fights,Gaitok realizes that Valentin and his friends were the ones behind the hotel robbery earlier in the season. Though Gaitok professes to Mook that he is a nonviolent person, this realization certainly sets up a violent confrontation between Gaitok and Valentin in the finale.

The White Lotus’s season 3, episode 8 trailer shows Gaitok running through the jungle with his gun, hinting at the potential shoot-out. Since Rick got rid of his gun in Bangkok, Gaitok’s gun is the only one that could have caused the shots fired from the season’s opening. My personal bet is that the gunshots are just a red herring, and this season’s death will happen some other way, but that does not mean that Gaitok and Valentin’s showdown won’t be interesting. If nothing else, this will prove Mook’s theory that even Gaitok has a propensity for violence.

3Laurie Will Make Up With Jaclyn And Kate, They Will Go Home Still Pretending To Be Friends

The Trio Will Remain Fake Until The End

The trio of girlfriends has been one of the most entertaining and tense parts of this season due to the sinister feelings that the group clearly had brewing just beneath the surface. The pattern of two ganging up on the third behind her back had been present all season, but this reached new levels in episode 7, withJaclyn and Kate openly confronting Laurie about her negative attitude. While this leaves Laurie in a weird place at the end of the episode, their circumstances could still change in the finale.

The White Lotus Season 3 Cut A Queer Detail About Laurie’s Child, Carrie Coon Reveals: “Wasn’t The Right Way To Engage”

Carrie Coon shares that Laurie’s child was meant to be queer in White Lotus season 3, a detail that adds more context to the childhood trio’s drama.

Though Laurie is undoubtedly angry about some things, she is also the only one who has attempted to end the fakeness of the group by calling Jaclyn out. In other words, she may be doing it for the wrong reasons, but holding your friends accountable isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Since her actions have led to her isolation leading into the finale,I thinkThe White Lotus’s final episode will see Laurie looking for a way to rejoin her friends, as has been the status quo for the group.

For most people, it might seem impossible to return from the things that these girlfriends have said to each other, but given how fake they are, they just might go with it.

At the moment, Laurie is clearly feeling disconnected from Jaclyn and Kate, and since they have all been friends for so long, she might just apologize for rocking the boat and go back to them. For most people, it might seem impossible to return from the things that these girlfriends have said to each other, but given how fake they are, they just might go with it. While the group could certainly do with more honesty, for this trio, I think the thought of losing the friendship altogether might seem worse than going through uncomfortable situations from time to time.

2Piper Will Not Stay In Thailand

She Will Realize Her Family Needs Her More

Piper is a character that I am both rooting for and not as committed to as Chelsea or Belinda. Out of the Ratliff family, she is certainly the most stable and seems most likely to get a happy ending. However, I think that she might reconsider her initial plans to stay in Thailand. Because she has been off on her own so much, she has not seen how bad things have gotten with the rest of her family, but when she returns from the monastery,Piper might ultimately be convinced that her family needs her help.

Why Lochlan Wants To Stay With Piper In Thailand After The White Lotus Season 3 (& Why She Clearly Doesn’t Want Him To)

In The White Lotus season 3, episode 7, Lochlan and Piper’s story develops, raising several questions about their motivations and feelings.

Though Timothy has not told his family yet about what is really going on, it is only a matter of time before they find out, especially once they all get their phones back. She is a very wholesome character, so, once the truth comes out,Piper will forgo her own dreams to help provide emotional support for her family. Additionally, because my prediction is that one of the Ratliff family members will die, Piper will want to be back in North Carolina not just to support her family through her father’s business problems but through a funeral as well.

1Saxon Will Be This Season’s Victim

The Smoothie In The Trailer Feels Ominous

Saxon has had a lot of ups and downs this season. He has largely been a pretty unlikable character, but episode 7 finally gave a bit more insight into who he is underneath all his posturing. On a more superficial note, it feels like a veryThe White Lotusmove to finally start to make a character more human and then turn around and kill them off, but I do have a few more concrete reasons as to why I think Saxon will be this season’s victim.

The White Lotus Season 3 Finale Runtime Sets Series Record

The White Lotus season 3 is wrapping up the storylines with the longest episode in the HBO series' history, as time in Thailand comes to an end.

While some of the other characters are involved in one potentially dangerous situation,Saxon is one of the only characters to be in multiple dangerous plots at once. His death has already been foreshadowed by his father’s death visions, after Saxon admits that his identity and definition of success is intimately tied to his father’s. Likewise, he is involved with Chloe and, by extension, Gary, who has already proven himself to be capable of murder, or at least arranging it. This could come back to bite Saxon.

Tim could attempt to use the fruit in a smoothie for himself, but Saxon could mistake it for his own smoothie and end up dying.

Additionally, the new trailer forThe White Lotusepisode 8 seesTim asking Pam about the fruit from the"suicide tree"and later shows a clip of a smoothie being blended. Saxon was the first person to ask about the trees and has been making smoothies all season. Tim could try to use the fruit in a smoothie for himself, but Saxon could mistake it for his own smoothie and end up dying. The body seen inThe White Lotus’s opening scene does have the right hair color to be Saxon, making this theory seem even more plausible.
