Zero.One of thebest ways to buff fighters is by using Ability Items.These items will add useful effects like reducing Ki cost for skills, increasing attack power, and even lengthening the duration of Sparking! Mode.
If you are looking to become the strongest fighter in the universe, you’ll want to collect as many Ability Items as you can.Outfitting your characters with the best items willgive you the edge you needand can be used in the Online/Offline Battle, Custom Battle, and World Tournament modes.

What Are Ability Items & How Many Are There?
Customize And Upgrade Fighter Abilities
Ability Items are small capsules that provide special unique buffsto the skills and stats of a fighter when equipped. These capsules allow you to further customize your characters to better fight your favored fighting style. If you prefer to engage your enemies in close quarters combat, equip an Ability Item that boosts combo attack damage. Do you like to keep your distance and fire off powerful Ki blasts? Equip an Ability Item that will increase your Ki recovery.
Some Ability Items will offer a buff to one ability at the cost of debuffing another. When equipping sets of Ability Items, try to offset any weaknesses gained from one item with other item effect buffs.

There are currentlyjust over 90 different Ability Items inDragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.With ahuge roster of fighters, there are a massive number of combinations of items and fighters. Each Ability Item is ranked in strength from one to three stars. A one-star item might give only a slight increase to an ability or stat, while a three-star item will offer a large increase. Here is a list of all the Ability Items currently in the game:

Rush Attack Boost 1/2/3

1: Slightly increases Rush Attack power / 2: Increases Rush Attack Power / 3: Greatly Increases Rush Attack power.
Melee Charge 1/2/3
Slightly reduces the charging time for Smash Attacks and Rush Chains / 2: Reduces the charging time for Smash Attacks and Rush Chains / 3: Greatly reduces the charging time for Smash Attacks and Rush Chains.
Smash Attack Boost 1/2/3
1: Slightly increases Smash Attack and Rush Chain attack power / 2: Increases Smash Attack and Rush Chain attack power / 3: Greatly increases Smash Attack and Rush Chain attack power.
Ki Blast Attack Boost 1/2/3
1: Slightly increases Rush Ki Blast / 2: Increases Rush Ki Blast / 3: Greatly increases Rush Ki Blast.
Energy Saver 1/2/3
1: Slightly reduces ki needed for Rush Ki Blasts and Smash Ki Blasts / 2: Reduces ki needed for Rush Ki Blasts and Smash Ki Blasts / 3: Greatly reduces ki needed for Rush Ki Blasts and Smash Ki Blasts.
Ki Blast Charge 1/2/3
1: Slightly reduces the charging time for Smash Ki Blasts / 2: Reduces the charging time for Smash Ki Blasts / 3: Greatly reduces the charging time for Smash Ki Blasts.
Blast Attack Boost 1/2/3
1: Slightly increases Blast and Ultimate Blast attack power / 2: Increases Blast and Ultimate Blast attack power / 3: Greatly increases Blast and Ultimate Blast attack power.
Ultimate Burst
Increases ki needed for Ultimate Blasts. Increases Ultimate Blast attack power.
Performer
Increases Blast attack power for a period of time after using an emote.
Health and ki gradually recover while in water.
The Secret to Counters
Reduces Skill Count needed for Super Z-Counters by 1 (Cannot be reduced below 1).
God Ki
Cuts ki needed for Blasts by half. Recovers ki after an unsuccessful Blast.
Super Transformation
Reduces Skill Count needed for Fusions and Transformations by 1. (Cannot be reduced below 1).
High-Speed Movement Master
Reduces amount of Sparking! gauge that High-Speed Movements use. Greatly reduces defense.
Super Movement Master
Slightly reduces amount of Sparking! gauge that Super Movements use. Greatly reduces defense.
Dragon Rush
Increases ability to stun opponents while they are using a Rush Attack.
Exquisite Skill
Reduces recovery time when stunned or restrained. Increases opponent recovery time when stunned or restrained.
Style of the Strong
Big Impact
Increases damage dealt after winning with an Impact Action the higher your opponent’s DP is relative to yours.
Latent Power Unleashed 1/2

Savior
Enter Sparking! Mode instantly after the first switch-out in Team Battles.
Dragon Heart
Slightly increases Skill Count after successfully dodging a Blast or Ultimate Blast with a High-Speed Movement.
Mirage
Automatically dodge barrage Blasts after dodging one with a High-Speed Movement or High-Speed Evasion.
Master Strike
Increases Rush Attack power. Increases Smash Attack and Rush Chain attack power. Reduces maximum health.
Master Ki Blast
Slightly increases the speed of Rush Ki Blasts. Greatly reduces ki needed for Rush Ki Blasts and Smash Ki Blasts. Reduces maximum health.
Power of the Universe
Prevents Transformations and Fusions during battle.
Almighty Boost
Slightly increases Rush Attack Power. Slightly increases Smash Attack and Rush Chain attack power. Slightly increases Rush Ki Blast and Smash Ki Blast attack power.

How To Get And Equip Ability Items
Increase Player Level To Unlock Ability Items
The easiest way to get more Ability Items is to buy them from the Shop.As you increase your Player Level, more and more of the capsules will become available for purchase. Ability items are also found as rewards for clearing Bonus Missions found in the Custom Battle Menu. You can also acquire them bymaking a wishand selecting"I want Ability Items"from Porunga and Super Shenron.
The only Ability Item that can’t eventually be bought in the Shop isBroly’s Ring, which you can only get from Super Shenron.
Equipping Ability Items is simple, andyou can eventually equip up to seven different items.Head to Kame House and enter the Customization menu. From here, select your character and select the Ability Items you would like to equip. you may even save up to five different item sets, making it easy if you want to equip the same items on many different characters. Once you’ve collected enough Ability Items, you’ll be able to fully customize your fighters with unique and powerful builds inDragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.
