InAssassin’s Creed Shadows, you will encounter many side quests while you’re exploring each region. The quests, no matter how small, add to the depth of the story and characters, and that includes the Godai Shinobi quest.
You must search various regions to find five Godai Shinobi members and defeat them. You will receive a reward with each individual you kill. Once they are all defeated, you will receive one final reward for completing the quest. This is a great opportunity to test outguaranteed assassination inAC Shadowsif you haven’t already.
The Godai Of Void Location & Rewards
Find Godai Of Void Near Goshiki Outlands in Omi
Not only is this quest great to receive Mon, but you will receive legendary rewards as well. Navigate to each locationusing your map. To begin this quest, a new objective board should appear when you are in your Objective tab. Not far fromthe Odani Destroyed Tenshu in Ominear the Goshiki Outlands will be the Godai of Void; you are told that he has a hideout in Omi in the eastern Goshiki Outlands.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows: All Nobutsuna’s Students Locations & Rewards
If you find all 7 of Nobutsuna’s students, you will receive multiple rewards in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, but some may be easier to find than others.
The hideout will be close to the Odani Destroyed Tenshu. This is also near the Daikichiji Temple innortheast of Nagahama.Heading up the main path, you will eventually come across a cave. The Godai of Void will be sitting next to some crates on your left.
It is a bit difficult to sneak up on them due to various factors in the environment. If you fail to assassinate him,you can still kill him,though he might be a bit difficult. Keep in mind that you will still receive rewards if you can’t kill him through an official assassination. Before leaving this region, consider heading south to find one of thehidden trails locations inAssassin’s Creed Shadows.
The Godai Of Wind Location & Rewards
Find Godai Of Wind In The Shimagahara Valley In Iga
You might not have much information given to you about him, but when you put the tracker on to find the Godai of Wind, you’ll notice he will be in the Iga region. Specifically, you will want togo to Shimagahara Valley, next to Otogi Pass. This is west of Mibuno Vale. He will have a small camp set up at the base of a small cliff.
Don’t head down the path in his direction. Instead,climb up the small cliff behind him,and jump on top of him to complete your assassination. Keep in mind that even if you fail the assassination, you will still reap the rewards from the quest. Upon killing him, you’ll receive a few different types of rewards.
The Godai Of Earth Location & Rewards
Find Godai Of Earth Near The Otaniinary Shrine In Iga
To find the Godai of Earth, you will want to head northeast of Kuroda Village. You will be told that he is in Iga and has been seen in central Hijiyama. On the map, they will be located just north of Hijiyama, east of Little Leaf Glade.The Otaniinary Shrine will be nearby.As you head down the stone steps towards the Otaniinari Shrine, you will see the Godai of Earth chopping a stump. It will be easy to sneak up from behind and assassinate him. Upon killing him, you will receive a few rewards.
The Godai Of Fire Location & Rewards
Find Godai Of Fire Near Mount Hiei In Omi
In the Omi Region, you will find the Godai Of Fire in thenorthwestern portion of Mount Hiei.The Three-Trunked Tree is northeast of this location. You will be told that he lingers near a burning pagoda. Just down the path from this burning building, he will be sitting on the ground next to a fire with an old wagon and crates near him.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows: All Pirate Alliance Locations & Rewards
The Pirate Alliance target board in Assassin’s Creed Shadows requires taking out five targets along the coasts of Wakasa for Shido the Biwa master.
To assassinate him, you should stay off the main path as you approach andflank around the left of himso you can get behind before attacking. As with the others, if you fail the assassination, you can still kill him for the quest, but he’ll be a bit tough. Once he’s defeated, you will receive a few special rewards.
The Godai Of Water Location & Rewards
Find Godai Of Water In A Swamp In Omi
In Omi near Lake Biwa, north of Sakamoto, you’ll find the Godai of Water in aswamp near the Mangetsuji Temple.Her name is Mizu, and she is one of Shotei’s former students. Depending on the time of day, she will be sitting on a rock writing, so it should be easy to sneak up behind her for an assassination.
Each of the Godai has linked up to conspire against Shotei and if you hadn’t assassinated them all, the Godai of Void would eventually be killed.
As you approach, you’ll notice dead bodies scattered in the water. There will be aninvitation that you can pick upon one of the bodies that is addressed to Jukei from Rokkaku Yoshimitsu; The Godai of Void. She is told that her penchant for violence impresses him and will be an asset when they go up against their former master, Shotei. From this, you can gather that each of the Godai has linked up to conspire against Shotei and if you hadn’t assassinated them all, he would eventually be killed.
If you fail to assassinate her, you can simply attack her. Keep your guard up as she is fairly tough to kill. Depending on the order you defeat the Godai, defeating her willcomplete this side quest.As with the others, you will receive a few different rewards once Mizu is taken care of.
The Godai Quest Completion Rewards
One Final Reward Once The Quest Is Completed
After you complete your final assassination in the Godai Quest, you will need to locate Shotei.you’re able to find him in Koga at his residence.This will be in Oni near The Shimmering Fields. After telling him that his former students were assassinated, he will reward you for completing the quest.
While the quest tells you that each Godai is to be assassinated, it doesn’t appear to have any significant impact on the rewards if you fail the assassination. So long as each and every former student is defeated in some way, then you should be able to reap the rewards for each kill and for this quest inAssassin’s Creed Shadows.
