As part of"The Butterfly Collector"quest given by the Gamekeeper inAssassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll be tasked with tracking down ten origami butterflies scattered around the Osaka region. This is one of the first major quests outside the main campaign, and collecting the origami butterflies isn’t as straightforward as it seems. You’ll discover an underground group of women who have been kidnapping children around Osaka. Hidden among these origami pieces are secret letters between the group that give you clues to their whereabouts.

While there are ten origami butterflies for thisquest inAssassin’s Creed Shadows, three contain clues connected to The Butterfly Collector board, ultimately leading to four key targets: Richo, Shucho, Mucho, and Kacho, the leader of the kidnapping ring. The kidnappings are only a smaller part of their larger scheme, and you’ll have to track down the targets and save the children to get to the bottom of things. The best place to start looking for origami butterflies and unraveling the kidnapping web is the Osaka Kakurega; use your Focus to search for blue dots around Osaka.
