BLAST Premier World Finals 2024: All qualified teams

BLAST’s season closer will feature eight of the best teams from across 2024.

Tournament form

What to expect?

The tournament presents a good opportunity for both teams. FaZe have the chance to recover from a very bad showing at IEM Dallas earlier this month, which made them not secure playoffs for the first time in the season. Vitality, on the other hand, have the opportunity to win their first tournament in 2024.

The pressure, however, will definitely be higher on Vitality’s side as fans had already been questioning mezii’s performances this year.

The match, without a doubt, will be a matter of whose stars are on a better day. The quartet of broky, ropz, frozen, and rain can be lethal, and so is the combination of ZywOo and Spinx’s peak. You won’t want to miss it.

Vitality mezii: “I think it’s time to win it now. There’s no better place to do it than here”

The UK rifler is quite introspective about his tenure on Vitality and is confident about the team’s future.

Astralis have been playing better than Virtus.pro in previous tournaments as they secured the semifinals in their four last events — IEM Chengdu, ESL Pro League season 19, CCT Global Finals, and YaLLA Compass. Meanwhile, Virtus.pro are yet to reach a single semifinal following the addition of electroNic ahead of EPL.

It’s hard to not favor Astralis in this matchup, especially because Virtus.pro already said their incoming head coach willhelp the squad to update the playbookduring the player break. As of the moment, it’s looking highly unlikely that Virtus.pro have all the tools necessary for a deep run at the BLAST Premier Spring Final.

AStralis will face the loser of FaZe and NAVI next.

What to expect from them?

Regardless of who NAVI and Spirit end up facing in the BLAST Premier Spring Final playoffs, they’ll be tough opponents to beat.

Although NAVI have seen a decline in form since they won the PGL Copenhagen Major in March, they know deep down inside that they’re capable of winning tournaments. They should be considered favorites against either Astralis or Virtus.pro.

Spirit saw a decline, too, as they didn’t win more tournaments as fans predicted after their impressive IEM Katowice run in February. The Russian team, however, have one of the best players in the world in the form of donk and can never be underestimated.

He has a good reason to be loud.
