Charlie Cox showed that he does a spot-on Tom Holland impression while promotingDaredevil: Born Again, and now I need to see the twoMCUactors collaborate once more. Charlie Cox has been making the rounds as Daredevilacross various MCU productions, but it is now back at the forefront of his own solo show. It’s safe to say thatDaredevil: Born Againhas struck the right chord, lending credence to the notion that he will return as Matt Murdockin future MCU installments- hopefully alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.

I say this becauseCharlie Cox has reminded me of how well the two work together with his fantastic impression of Tom Holland, which he deployed in a videomade with Vincent D’Onofrio forLadBible. The twoDaredevilactors were playing “First Impressions,” a game that tasks each player with doing impressions of various famous figures while the other guesses, when Cox was tasked with impersonating Tom Holland. Despite insisting “I suck at impressions” before the game gets underway, Cox proves himself wrong with his Holland, which can be seen below at around one minute in.

What Charlie Cox’s Spot-On Tom Holland Impression Means

Charlie Cox Has An Established Working Relationship With Tom Holland

There is a reason why Charlie Cox would feel comfortable impersonating Tom Holland, and that’s becausethey worked together, albeit briefly, inSpider-Man: No Way Home. This occurred early in the movie, as a newly-exposed Peter Parker sought legal representation in the fight against the fake story spread by Quentin Beck in his final moments. The short scene officially confirmed that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock was a part of the MCU, with his impossibly quick reflexes when catching a brick demonstrating his Daredevil powers.

Daredevil’s Complete MCU Timeline Explained

Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock has now made several appearances as Daredevil in the MCU, and his previous exploits on Netflix may also be MCU canon.

Whether the two will cross paths again remains to be seen, but it arguably makes a lot of sense. Tom Holland is unlikely to appear inDaredevil: Born Againdue to Sony’s ownership of the character, butthere is a precedent set for having Daredevil appear inSpider-Man 4. Vincent D’Onofrio recently refuted rumors that this would be the case, but it isn’t as if MCU actors never mislead interviewers to throw them off the scent. Alternatively, there is a possibility that the two could be working togetherin an upcoming Avengers movie.

Our Take On Charlie Cox’s Spot-On Tom Holland Impression

I think Charlie Cox’s Tom Holland impression is a sign that the two need to work together on another MCU movie again. While theirscenes together inSpider-Man: No Way Homewere brief, I can see the two sharing some incredible chemistry, which would imitate comic book precedent. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is unaware of Matt Murdock’s secret identity, but I think MCU fans would all benefit from seeing Spidey and Daredevil swinging through the streets of New York together at some point, especially if Matt Murdock’s early acrobatics inDaredevil: Born Againare anything to go by.
