Muse was introduced as a sadistic artist who would seemingly be the main villain for the rest of the season, but episode 7 unmasked his identity as he met his demise. With him out of the way,it opens up the final conflict between Matt and Fisk as it’s always been destined to be. So far, Matt has only acted as Daredevil when someone he cared about was in danger. Episode 8 will determine if he’s back as Daredevil for good. Heather’s trauma from the near-death experience may also be explored, especially her newfound connection to Daredevil.
