At the time of writing, Netflix has not explained the decision to cancelDead Boy Detectives.
The news, likely a disappointment to those who enjoyed the show, brings to an end the adaptation’s long journey to audiences. It was originally intended for the Max streaming service, but because it did not into the overall direction of Max’s DC content,Dead Boy Detectiveswas moved to Netflix and folded into the streamer’sSandmanuniverse.
