Dexter Review: An Addictive & Masterful Thriller Series That Flatlines In Its Later Seasons

The Dexter original series had the potential to be an all-time great series but fumbled in its latter half, which arguably should not have been made.

All the supporting characters inOriginal Sin, old and new, have such strong performances and add a great sense of authenticity to the series. Christina Milian’s Maria LaGuerta continues to do her character justice, whileDeb’s one-liners are straight out of the original series' handbook.

Even the underutilized Masuka and Batista hold true when they do come around while making space for new characters such as Spencer, Tanya, and Clark Sanders.Dexter: Original Sinepisode 6 proves that the series has found a natural stride and is arguably the best yet.
