The Best Classes To Use In Diablo 4 Season 5, Ranked

Diablo IV Season 5 is bringing a lot of new changes to both the classes and unique items, which should shake up the meta and introduce new builds.

Earning Level 1-35 In Season 5

Helltides

Like in past seasons, thebest way to grind out your first 35 levels is going to be through the Helltides, which are events that last around an hour and can be found randomly throughout the world. They can be found in any region and bring boss fights, special chests, and Cinders for players to collect. Enemies will have a slightly increased level, butthis can allow players to get a lot of experience very quickly.

Additionally, another reason to seek out Helltides for your first 35 levels is that you will be fightingElites, Champions, Hellborne, and Bosses, which are all the types of enemies you need to defeat to start progressing the seasonal questline and start earningMother’s Gifts inDiablo 4. Particularly as you are inWorld Tier II and III, it is a great idea to keep progressing this questline when you can.

Opening these gifts is important in the early levels because thechests are locked to certain levels and can drop Sacred gear. This gear can get you through the earlier levels in the Helltides easier than you could on your own, andYouTuber P4wnyhofpoints out thatsome of these items got him through a large portion of the grindfrom Level 1-100.

Specifically, P4wnyhof suggests firstcompleting Whisper Helltides and then starting the quest line, fulfilling every quest you can until they tell you that you need togo get more materials. Then you are going to go back to Helltides.

Whenever you see one of the Whisper Helltides open up thatalso has a Grim Favor listed as a reward on it, you are going to want to prioritize finishing that Helltide as quickly as possible.

Earning Level 35-55

Capstone Dungeons & Infernal Hordes

Once you reach Level 35, it is suggested that you thengo and complete the Capstone Dungeon. This will let you start to wear all that Sacred loot you have been collecting and start making more progress. Once you have finished that and advanced to World Tier III, you are going towant to start thenew quest inDiablo 4immediately.

The reason you want to get on that new quest is that it willunlock the ability to get the Infernal Hordes. This means you can start grinding those Infernal Hordes, and you are going to pop back into the Helltides and start grinding out high-level enemies without any issues, earning levels like they are going out of style. You should be able to make it to Level 55 no problem, and at that point, you will want tofinish Capstone Dungeon II.

While you are working through Helltides, you can also do theHell Breaches in World Tier III, which can again get you high-quality loot for not as much difficulty.

Make sure youfinish most if not all of the seasonal quests before you progress to World Tier 4. At that point, you will be able to solely focus on Mother’s Gifts and not have to worry about the quests themselves.

Earning Level 55-100

Whisper Caches & Helltide Chests

At this point, you will start toearn Tier III Infernal Horde Compasses, although you will not want to use them right away. Instead, you are going to want to start out bydoing even more Helltides but also Nightmare Dungeons. You are going to want to continue to do this until you reach a high enough Armor Level and Resistance Level to start grinding out the Infernal Hordes.

The recommendation is to get around9200 Armor and 60s across the board for all Resistances. This will make you a terror sweeping through all the hordes that will take you the rest of the way to Level 100. In that time, you will also be getting a lot of great loot, includingSeason 5 unique items inDiablo 4that you can only get this way.

Your loot from these fights will also automatically be better since theTier III Infernal Hordes will be at Level 100and you will get a higher payout for defeating them.

Other Tips And Tricks For Leveling In Season 5

If you want to grind out and max out your Aether, summoning Hellborne is the way to go. You get more and more of them, which gives you even more Aether while they come in. This can bedone in the Infernal Hordes as well, giving you the potential to do double duty.

As far as builds go, whatever you are getting the loot for will work pretty well. However, an aspect on your items that you will want to look for is “Blood Boil” as no matter what build you are going for this is just going to explode some enemies. It ismore useful in an Overwhelm build, but it is going to be a boon to you in the Helltides regardless.

You may also want to useElemental Surge as your Tempering Recipe and Worldly Finesse on your accessories. It gives you bonuses to different types of damage, which are very useful for any situation. The extra percentages are:

And with all that in mind, you are ready to jump into the world of Season 5 inDiablo 4and level all the way up in no time at all.
