September 2024 is looking to be a fun month inDisney Dreamlight Valleywith the addition of a new event called theEnd of Summerevent. After a busy month in August with the introduction of Princess Tiana and Act III of the DLCA Rift In Time, September will be a bit slower but still with a lot of fun.
The End of Summerevent willrun from September 4 to September 26, giving players 22 days to celebrate the change in seasons and enjoynew quests, items, Dreamlight duties, and more. Players quickly noticednew milestone challengesunder their Dreamlight duties and assumed a new event would be coming to their Valleys. Players were right in their assumption.

Celebrate The Change In Seasons From Summer to Fall
For players who have already finished both the base game andThe Now And Then Quest, theEnd of Summerevent gives them a reason to return to enjoynew quests and itemswhile waiting for new characters to appear in the Valley. As someone who has completed both main stories and nearly finished leveling all characters to 10, I am excited to welcome a new event with new tasks to complete.
Asusual with events,cooking and crafting will involvenewDisney DreamlightValleyrecipesand items. Heading into the Dreamlight tab in the menu, two new tasks are already available, ass seen inProbably Senpai’s video. The new tasks areShare Some Sweetnessand Savor Some Sweetness, which have been available since the latestDDVupdate but are unable to complete.Each hasa goal of 25.
The newestDisney Dreamlight Valleyeventbrings with it marshmallows. Yep, it’s that time of year when campfires will soon be roaring, and marshmallows will be roasting. So, of course,Disney Dreamlight Valleywants to bring a touch of that magic fall feeling into the game, too.
Be on the lookout for these new, fluffy, and gooey treats. you’re able to findpink marshmallows growing on bushes throughout the Plazaand blue marshmallows appearing in random places throughout the Valley, including in places like the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust.
If you know someone who willmiss theEnd-of-Summerevent, save them some marshmallows! They’ll appreciate it!
With the marshmallows, you’ll also get two new recipes to enjoy and share with your villagers, including everyone’s favorite campfire snack — s’mores. Plus, newcraftables like the Bonfire Pit, which is an item that will let you take photos with nearby villagers
We’re not entirely sure what the other recipe or craftable items will be, but it’s exciting nonetheless. Lastly, you’ll enjoy those two new tasks mentioned earlier just by gifting and eating Marshmallow-themed treats — yummy! And the prize? New wearables for yourDisney Dreamlight Valleyavatar.
