At some point in her reign,Georgiou commissioned a weapon known as the Godsendwith the ability to wipe out an entire quadrant. She later had a change of heart and ordered the weapon destroyed, but it was secretly placed in storage at a weapons facility overseen by Dada Noe (Joe Pingue).

Although Georgiou believed San had died, she later learned that he had developed an immunity to the poison and survived. San somehow made it to the early 24th century where he sought the Godsend to prepare an invasion of the Prime Universe.

Burnham and Georgiou then traveled to Dannus V in search of a possible cure, where they discovered the Guardian of Forever.
