What The Set Photos Mean For Fallout Season 2
Novac Will Be An Important Location
Season 1’s ending revealed that New Vegas would serve as a major location forFalloutseason 2and now, the set photos reveal the first look at one of its locations coming to life. In theFallout: New Vegasvideo game,Novac is a location in the Mojave Wasteland, one of the notable stops along Highway 95. Its iconic landmarks are its big green Dinky the T-Rex Statue and its Dino Dee-lite Motel. The set photos show a look at the motel’s broken “No Vacancy” sign, which is where the location, Novac, gets its name.
Fallout Show Timeline: When It Takes Place Compared To The Games
Prime Video’s Fallout show tells a new story within the Fallout universe, but when and where does it take place compared to the video games?
In-game,the T-Rex statue is holding the “World’s 2nd Largest Thermometer,“a reference to the real “World’s Tallest Thermometer” located in Baker, California, which is now being used as a filming location for Novac inFalloutseason 2. The video game’s clever nod to the real-world landmark appears to be paying off years later in the TV show. With Baker standing in for Novac, the TV show should incorporate an extra layer of authenticity in its visually faithful recreation of one ofFallout: New Vegas' most memorable locations.
