Take on Fighting-type Raid bosses during a special Raid Day in Pokémon GO.
We finally have details about what to expect with the Sparring Partners Raid Day in Pokémon GO. There has been a lot of speculation about what could feature after the event was listed as part of the April Content graphic released.
Some speculated we might see Keldeo return to the game. Or perhaps even something to do with Kubfu and its evolutions. Sadly, as cool as these would have been, this is not the case. However, this Raid Day has bonuses to dive into which can help you level up.
Here are all the event details you need to know:
There will be three featured Pokémon
The Sparring Partners Raid Day will see three featured Pokémon, which is different to our usual Raid Day mechanic in Pokémon GO. Two of these will just be standard Pokémon, with the third a Mega Evolution.
They are:
New featured move
Now, we can’t say that these are the most exciting Pokémon to ever be featured. They have all appeared before, and Scraggy and Hariyama have been in the game a lot as a Wild Spawn.
That said, all three featured Pokémon will be able to learn the Charged Attack Upper Hand from the event and continuing afterwards. However, this move will not be exclusive to the event so previously caught Pokémon can learn it with a standard TM.
