The pursuit has notable negative consequences on the world. The Gobi Desert has fused to glass and the speedsters ran straight through the Öræfajökull volcano while running beyond Mach 10. Barry retreats into the Flash Museum andwhile he’s managed to stay out of Velocity’s clutches, the Amazo finally catches the Flash.

Flash Nearly Outraces the Fastest Villain He’s Ever Fought

Amanda Waller had beenscheming in the shadows for months to take down the Earth’s metahuman population and she finally struck by unleashing Task Force VII, a crew of Amazos that had been improved by her Trinity of Evil comrades, Failsafe and the Brainiac Queen. The Amazos attacked Earth’s heroes and siphoned their powers, even those as powerful as Superman and the Spectre. Thankfully not every hero was impacted. While Wally West wasn’t so lucky, Barry was constantly on the move. He even used hisFlash powers to help his comrades, passing along secure messages from one hero to another.

Despite being called as much, Barry isn’t the fastest man alive (as Wally West stans can attest). That fact is even more true with Velocity having the combined speed of every other speedster. And yet, Flash is still pulling ahead, putting his mind to use as he strategizes a way to defeat his terrifying new rival. But while Barry is doing fine right now, their battle is seriously harming the world around them. Granted, it’s not Barry’s fault since it’s Velocity who can’t generate a Speed Force aura. Butthis Flash fight is putting the DC Universe in serious danger.

Flashpoint Beyond Barry DC

The Flash’s Latest Battle is Destroying the DC Universe (On Accident)

Barry Allen knows firsthand that his powers can cause serious damage to the world around him if he’s not careful. But he’s not the one in the wrong here. Velocity’s consumption of excess speedster energy and lack of a protective aura is wreaking havoc on the world. While Barry’s able to push his powers beyond what fans have seen to stay ahead, Velocity’s primary concern is apprehending the Flash at any cost, even if that means damage to the natural world. Hopefully,Flashcan do something before this evil speedster causes irreparable harm to the DCU.

The Flash

The Flash is the superhero name given to the DC Comics character who utilizes unparalleled speed tied to a dimensional power known as the “speed force” to overwhelm their opposition. Premiering in 1939, the original Flash arrived as Jay Garrick. Still, it would be superseded by Barry Allen in popularity and featured status, but the Flash is one character that has met many of their alternate selves. The character is typically seen as a part of the Justice League in nearly all incarnations.
