As much as I am awaiting the release ofGrand Theft Auto 6this year, the indie dating simDate Everything!is my most anticipated game of 2025. Aside from the wide range of options that will allow me to play the dating sim multiple times and get to know more about each of these dateable candidates, another aspect of the game is particularly exciting to me: every romanceable character is fully voice-acted. From what has been announced so far,Date Everything!feels like a celebration of voice acting and a huge hub for legends of the industry. I, for one, am in a constant state of hyper-focusing on voice actors’ works, while trying to recognize their voices and get thrilled with their range of possible interpretations.

As a voice-acting enthusiast who lacks the talent to be one himself but admires the work,Date Everything!seems like a dream game for me. That stacks with the fact that I am part of the group of players who enjoy dating sims and the replay factor that they can provide, especially when considering how goofy some of them are. One of my favorites isHatoful Boyfriend, which can be consideredone of the best meme games. I’m positive that I will be able to enjoy a silly story with incredible voice acting and find my new favorite dating sim.

While the dating sim was originally slated for release on February 14 (coinciding with Valentine’s Day), Sassy Chap Games made the decision to postpone the release by a few months. According to a post by the developer on the officialDate Everything!account on X (formerly Twitter), the game’s content has already been completed, but the team is working on correcting bugs and tweaking the title’s many possible story paths (and fixing glitches that may arise from them). As such,the studio made the decision to delayDate Everything!’s release to an unspecified date in June this year.
