NewGenshin Impact5.2 leaks about Chasca indicate that she will beat Wanderer’s abilities in every single aspect and will likely powercreep him entirely. Chasca is a character from Natlan who has already been introduced as an NPC in the Archon Quests set in the Nation of Pyro. Her playable form was initially leaked for release in Version 5.1, though it has already been confirmed that Xilonen will be the only new playable character in the update. There have been, however, a fewChasca leaks inGenshin Impactdetailing some of her skills, including the ability to fly around.

At the time, this came as no surprise considering that Natlan characters have had some extra investment in mobility skills, allowing them to traverse more easily within the area. Mualani can surf over water at high speeds, while Kinich can use a grappling hook to move around, for example. Chasca’s rumored flight was not detailed in the first leaks, though new information about her has emerged. This is because she is rumored to be a new playable character in Version 5.2, despite the lack of new Natlan Archon Quests and aleaked return to Dragonspine inGenshin Impact5.2events.

Chasca’s Gameplay Kit In Genshin Impact Has Leaked

The Anemo Character Is Rumored To Fly

New details about Chasca’s gameplay kit in Version 5.2 have leaked, highlighting both her rumored Elemental Skill and her Elemental Burst. The information was allegedly obtained by a leaker during the update’s offline beta tests and was then shared in a post tagged as “Suspicious” onReddit.According to the leak, Chasca’s Elemental Skill allows her to hoverand, by holding the button, she can float higher. The leak also says Chasca can jump horizontally during the flight mechanic. Chasca’s rumored Burst is said to fire several coordinated attacks at enemies when she uses her Normal or Charged Attacks.

The leaked Skill’s description also says Chasca can fire Normal and Charged Attacks during her flight, likeWanderer inGenshin Impact, though these attacks generate coordinated attacks and restore Nightsoul Points.

Chasca’s Leaked Abilities In Genshin Impact May Beat Wanderer’s

The Character’s Flight & Damage May Be Better Than Wanderer’s

Based on this initial leak about Chasca’s abilities, it seems very similar to Wanderer’s gameplay kit. Both characters use their Elemental Skills to start flying and their main source of damage stems from their Normal and Charged Attacks while they are flying. Additionally, both Chasca and Wanderer release extra attacks, though Chasca’s leaked coordinated attacks seem to come more naturally while Wanderer is required to dash mid-flight to have a chance of triggering the extra attacks from his kit. This already seems to put Chasca at an advantage when it comes to hitting opponents inGenshin Impact.

This is because Chasca’s extra attacks would be triggered naturally while she used her regular attacks. Wanderer needs to dash and this action alone consumes the Kuugoryoku Points that dictate how long he can stay in the air. As such, if players dash around too much, they may end his flight’s duration earlier than it would have naturally ended if they had not. Additionally, Wanderer’s extra attacks, called Gales of Reverie, are not guaranteed to be triggered. As such, players may just dash around with flying Wanderer, waste Kuugoryoku Points, and not land those extra attacksinGenshin Impact.

Genshin Impact’s Chasca strikes a pose in Natlan.

Another very important aspect of Chasca’s leaked gameplay kit is that her rumored flight mechanic, triggered by her Elemental Skill, is allegedly sustained by the consumption of Nightsoul Points. Naturally, this would put an expiration on how long she can fly. However, the leak says that when Chasca attacks enemies mid-flight with her Normal and Charged Attacks, she is capable of restoring Nightsoul Points. This does not mean her Nightsoul Point regeneration necessarily beats how much is drained to keep her in the air, butit could significantly prolong how long Chasca is capable of sustaining flight in the game.

Genshin Impact’s Character Building Is Getting A Whole Lot Easier

Several new quality-of-life updates are arriving to Genshin Impact, and one of them is going to make building characters a much smoother experience.

Furthermore, the leak also says that Chasca’s flight movement is faster than Wanderer’s. This would mean that she is likely capable of moving around at higher speeds, thus dodging attacks and reaching locations more effectively than the Hat Guy. For comparison, the leak also says thatChasca’s flight distance may be shorter than Xianyun’s. Like most othercharacters from Natlan inGenshin Impact, her sustained movement mechanic could consume Phlogiston in addition to Nightsoul Points while in Natlan, which would make her extremely efficient for exploration within the Nation of Pyro.

Genshin Impact’s Mavuika holds a claymore to the left and has her arms open to the right.

At the moment, it is difficult to determine exactly how well Chasca would be able to sustain her rumored flight outside of Natlan – so far, all Natlan characters’ superb movement mechanics are limited to the Nation of Pyro. Outside of it,their Nightsoul’s Blessing state ends pretty quickly, and they do not have access to the Phlogiston meter to extend how long they can move in their special states. As such, Chasca could also be disappointing when used for exploration outside the region.

The main advantage here would be the rumored ability to prolong her flight because Chasca is said to be able to restore Nightsoul Points, which fuel her flight. If hitting opponents with Normal and Charged Attacks is all that is needed to restore these points, thenshe could possibly stay in the air for a long time in combat instances, especially against tougher enemies that will continuously take damage and not be quickly defeated, such asNatlan’s Local Legends inGenshin Impact.

Downside To Chasca’s Leaked Abilities

The Character’s Kit May Be Too Similar To Wanderer’s

Despite allegedly being an immense powercreep to Wanderer, the main downside to Chasca’s leaked abilities is that her gameplay kit just seems way too similar to the other 5-star Anemo character. Both can fly and are incentivized to deal damage with Normal and Charged Attacks while flying. Their Bursts are slightly different in the sense that Wanderer’s Burst is a nuke, whereasChasca’s Burst seems to activate a special state that grants more coordinated attacks while she is actively being played– additionally, it is rumored to refresh her Skill’s cooldown inGenshin Impact.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks: Mavuika Is Making Me Hopeful For The Game’s Future, Four Years Later

There have been new leaks about Mavuika’s gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 5.3, and they sound extremely promising, even if four years late.

These are still very early leaks and in spite of the rumors pointing toward Chasca’s release in Version 5.2, they may still be subject to change if they are not entirely incorrect. They are obviously still incomplete, so more details about how Chasca flies and deals damage may be revealed during the next few weeks as Version 5.1 commences and the beta tests forGenshin Impact5.2 start being leaked, usually with footage and specific details about each of the new character’s abilities.
