Mavuika’s second leaked passive Talent increases the active party member’s DMG by 0.2% for every Fighting Spirit present after she uses her Elemental Burst. Previously, this value was 0.25%. Additionally, the cap of the DMG increase, which was set at 50%, was reduced to 40%. As a character who has been predicted to be a hybrid DPS and sub-DPS unit, the leaked nerfs to Mavuika’s kit are making me worried about pulling for her.I’ve been saving my Primogems for Mavuika since Version 5.0 with the prospect of a powerful Pyro unit, but if she fails to live up to her potential as a damage dealer, I would’ve skipped great playable unitslike Xilonen andChasca inGenshin Impactfor no reason whatsoever. Based on the leaks so far, Mavuika has an incredible set of animations and her versatility should arrive in the final release.

However, a good-looking set of animations is not enough for me to invest my resources. Mavuika’s leaked nerfs are not minor – there have been major cuts to the character’s damage potential if the leaks are accurate, and that is precisely what is making me angsty about how she will be once she’s finally released in Version 5.3. The damage from her on-field Elemental Skill effects has been significantly cut, which alreadymakes me feel like I’ll be forced to use her as a sub-DPS inGenshin Impactrather than a main DPS.
I desired to truly be able to use Mavuika as a hybrid unit, with her role adapting depending on the challenge.
Furthermore,one of the stronger aspects of her kit, the passive that grants her an ATK buff has also been cut down, which also makes her feel less effective in combat in her sub-DPS role. Of course, this could change over time leading up to the character’s release as the patch’s beta tests are still occurring. Meanwhile,Lan Yan was buffed inGenshin Impact5.3, according to leaks.
Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks: Mavuika’s Signature Weapon May Be The Best Claymore Yet
The 5-star weapon that belongs to Mavuika in Genshin Impact 5.3 has leaked and it may be the very best claymore for damage dealers in the game.
It’s useless to get too invested in Mavuika at this point because her final version may be completely different than that reported by the leaks.
