While the new characters are very much the highlight of the update when it comes to core gameplay, there are leaks indicating that several new features will be added with the upcoming patch.This includes an expansion to the Astral Express map, which should allow players to visit new areas occupied by the Nameless. As shown in leaked footage that was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” onReddit,the Trailblazer will get their own room in Version 2.7. Different from the rooms of the rest of the crew, the Trailblazer’s room is seemingly not located on the Passenger Cabin map but, instead, connected directly to the leaked Party Car map. From there, the Trailblazer enters their room inHonkai: Star Rail.

A huge story spoiler for Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 has been revealed and it may drastically change the future of the game’s campaign characters.
Compared to the rooms provided for March 7th and Dan Heng, for example, the Trailblazer’s leaked room is much larger. In fact, it is larger than the rooms for both aforementioned characters combined. As can be seen from the video, the Traiblazer’s room has a large entryway, and, moving forward, they have a kitchen area with a large dining table full of food. To the right, there is a couch, a bed, and a PC station with multiple screens. There is also a decorative area in the main room with several trinkets owned by theTrailblazer inHonkai: Star Rail.
The trinkets are all mementos from the Trailblazer’s feats across the universe, including figures of a Trashcan, the Xianzhou Luofu flagship, and even Penacony’s Clockie.

This bathtub can be interacted with and there are rumors, as shown in a leak by HomDGCat onReddit, thattaking specific types of baths will provide the player’s team comp with different buffs inHonkai: Star Rail.

This bathtub seems to be entirely customizable with the different types of baths that players can choose from, but also other cosmetic items. It is uncertain if these cosmetics will affect the bath’s outcome and, therefore, the buff they provide. However, customization seems to be at the forefront of the bathtub experience in the Trailblazer’s room. The leaked video shows them leaving the bathroom and interacting with the small PC near the couch. There, they seem to gain access to a reputation system. Additionally, they can check on other aspects of the Astral Express. This includes a customization option for several types of decorations around the Trailblazer’s room in the game.Fixed furniture does not seem customizable, but players can swap posters placed on walls, items placed on shelf spots, and other pieces of decoration in the room. An example is a doll forSparkle inHonkai: Star Rail, which can be placed on the bed.
Honkai Star Rail 2.7 Leaks: Which Free Characters You Can Get (So Far)
Leaks indicate that players will be able to unlock a free character selector in Honkai: Star Rail 2.7. Here are the characters and their strengths.
Some of the decorations shown in the video had previously leaked, hinting at the possibility of a customization system within the Astral Express, but the leaked footage not only confirms it but shows the system may be denser and with more options than originally suspected. In addition to the customization aspect of the Trailblazer’s room in Version 2.7,the main character’s abode on the Astral Express also seems to have some interactive elements. One of them can be seen in the footage when the player selects the background song byRobin inHonkai: Star Railto play in the room.
Another interesting element seen in the leaked footage is the arcade machine next to the computer where the player selects the song. By interacting with it,players can seemingly have access to different types of mini-games that they normally play in the game, such as the Warp Trotter catching mini-game. It is uncertain if players will be able to challenge these mini-games directly from the machine, but it does seem to indicate that they will be given access to them via the arcade machine in the Trailblazer’s leaked room inHonkai: Star Rail2.7 and onward.
Honkai Star Rail 3.0 Leaks: New Enemies May Finally Play With Meta Team Comps
The order of characters in team comps may start to matter even more with the arrival of new enemies in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 and beyond.
Customization and interactivity seem to play an important role in the upcoming patch with the release of the Trailblazer’s room and other map areas on the Astral Express.These updates may be a way of making the space-faring train actually feel more like a home or a base for the main character since this has not been the case. Despite being an active member of the Nameless, the Trailblazer does not have a room on the Astral Express like Dan Heng orMarch 7th inHonkai: Star Rail. So far, they can only change the song in the Parlor Car.
For now, this leak should be considered with caution. As reliable as the footage may seem, backed up by previous leaks, too, the information may be incorrect, incomplete, or subject to change. The contents may even be postponed to another patch as HoYoverse works on optimizing the leaked systems.
