Dead Rising Deluxe Remastermakes many changes from the originalDead Risinggame, including an easier way to unlock the infamous Infinity Mode. This mode puts you in Frank’s shoes against zombie hordes for unlimited time, testing how long you can endure endless survival. Different hands-on gameplay andpreviews ofDead Rising Deluxe Remasterhave shown changes to Infinity Mode. In the original title, the Mode placed you back at the beginning of Frank’s adventure, similar to the normal 72-hour story. However, all items were only spawned once in the Mall, you couldn’t save your progress, and the mode was always about how long you could last before a game over.

Beat The Game Two Other Times
The only way to unlock Infinity Mode inDead Rising Deluxe Remasteris tobeat the game in the 72-hour and Overtime modes. The 72-hour mode is the standard difficulty of the game, where you have a limited time to reach an ending before Frank becomes a zombie. This mode will have you defeating bosses, discovering clues related to the undead outbreak, and foraging for items to help you live.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Review: A Full Feast of Ridiculous Action
Capcom’s Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is undeniably the best way to play the game, with gorgeous graphics and much-appreciated QoL improvements.
Thelimited time ofDead Risingwill eventually lead you to an ending, butyou need to reach the"best"Ending A to unlock Overtime mode. Overtime is a continuation of the 72-hour mode’s story, putting Frank in a new setting to survive in. Here, you’ll not only have to deal with infected hordes but also new psychopaths and military soldiers trying to cover up what has happened earlier.

Ending A can only be reached when you solve all cases, talk to the NPC Isablea at 10 am, and be at the helipad on time in the 72-hour mode.
Managing to beat both Overtime and 72-hour modes will allow you to select Infinity mode when you start a new game. Frank’s health slowly drains throughout Infinity mode, even if you aren’t attacked, so this can be easily considered the hardest difficulty in the game.

Unlike the original title, thenew content inDead Rising Deluxe Remasterchanges Infinity mode significantly. For starters, youcan save your progress in Infinity modenow, allowing you to return to the points you’ve reached. Zombies also now have a small chance to drop valuable items, making it easier to stay alive with resources that don’t only spawn once throughout the Mall area.
Staying alive in Infinity mode can earn you tons of achievements/trophies, including ones for surviving for five or seven days. Those who unlock Infinity Mode inDead Rising Deluxe Remasteralso have a chance to get the Laser Sword, the strongest melee weapon in the game.
