Other characters include Margo Starling (Linda Cardellini), who stops at nothing to get what she wants; JD Campbell (Luke Wilson), an unemployed opera star; Carla (Teyonah Parris), a cynical pregnant woman; Carla’s husband, Dennis (O-T Fagbenle), a writer torn between his wife and mother; Leslie Fisher (Abbi Jacobson), a long-time fan of the Morgan house; Sarah (Poppy Liu), Leslie’s wife who harbors secrets; and Mikey (Denis Leary), a crook desperate to rid himself of his debts.These characters could not be more different from each other, and they each bring their own quirks to the competition for the Morgans' home.

A worthy competitor for the Morgan House is Margo Starling, portrayed by none other than the iconic Linda Cardellini.Cardellini also starred in Feldman’sDead to Meas Judy Hale, so the two have worked together before. In fact, Feldman wanted Cardellini to portray Margo since the production ofDead to Meseason 3. Once Linda Cardellini hung up her role as Judy Hale with the shockingDead to Meseason 3 ending, Cardellini expressed wanting her next role to be the complete opposite of Judy Hale.

Although Judy Hale had her secrets, she was a sweet and optimistic person, always trying to do her best for people. Margo Starling could not be more different, with her mysterious Los Angeles aura, status-seeking opportunist ways, and scheming plans. Other than harboring secrets, Margo and Judy are complete opposites of each other, an exciting turn for Cardellini, who expressed to Feldman that she wanted to play a “badass bitch” for her next role. Regardless of howNo Good Deedunfolds,it will be a breath of fresh air to watch Cardellini play a new character.
