One of the more difficult puzzles you’ll encounter inIndiana Jones and the Great Circleis the Resonance Chamber, which comes up during the Gizeh chapter.Part of the main story quest"The Idol of Ra," the Resonance Chamber requires an innate understanding of many of the game’s systems, along with a keen eye, and a willingness to search and experiment. It’s been consistently baffling players since the game was released, and, even with Indy’s photographic hints, can still seem excessively difficult even to an experienced player.
Again, the Resonance Chamber puzzle is part of “The Idol of Ra,” so it’s unmissable and unskippable. You’ll need to find it and solve it as you search the areas beneath the Khafre dig site, when you find a hidden entrance at the base of a pyramid and must smash it open with a sledgehammer. Once you come upon the Resonance Chamber itself, you’ll notice a few things right away:three statues and four tablets, which will be your tools for solving this puzzle. Here’s how to get started and uncover the secret of the Resonance Chamber.

How To Photograph The Tablets
First Room Tablets
First and foremost, look around the Resonance Chamber itself. You’ll notice (and Indy will probably remark on) the tablets mounted on the walls around the statues, which he deduces to be in the Adamic language. In order to proceed with the quest, you’ll have to take pictures of all the Adamic tablets. Start with the four in this room (there are more later), all of which are pictured above.
When lining up a photo, try to get the caption to appear above the frame to get the perfect shot. Indy should make a comment on the content of the photo, and you should get a few Adventure Points, if you’ve done it right.

Note that one of the tablets is broken - we’ll deal with that later. Once you’ve taken photos of the tablets, you’ll be prompted to check Laura’s Journal, which you should do. You’ll see a brief cutscene before moving onto the next phase of the quest.
Finding The Secret Passage & The Last Two Tablets
As Indy takes picturesof the tablets in the Chamber, he’ll read out the words written on them. This causes a small opening to appear in the wall next to the first tablet pictured in the gallery above. Crouch down and crawl through it, and you’ll enter a dark, narrow hallway. First, you’ll find two more tablets on your left; light the brazier beneath them to ensure you get good lighting, then snap more photos.
Indiana Jones And The Great Circle Review: Already A Priceless Artifact
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle valiantly attempts to recapture what makes the movies special, and like Indy himself, it usually lands on its feet.
Then, at the end of the hallway, you’ll findthe missing piece of the broken tablet. Grab the staff next to it, and use it to smash a hole in the cracked wall to the right, then grab the tablet and return to the main room with three statues. Return the broken tablet piece to its rightful home, and then take another photo of the completed tablet.

Saying A Prayer
Now, you should have photos of all six tabletsbeneath the Gizeh pyramid, and be back in the main room. Indy is likely to comment on his/your progress verbally. If he doesn’t, and can’t continue the quest, see if taking additional photos of the tablets allows you to proceed. It can be difficult to line the photos up correctly.
Waltz up to the middle statue, and Indy should slap all six photos down on its pedestal. Take a moment toroll over each of them and note their names: “The Lord’s,” “Heed,” “The secret,” “Oath,” “Of the name,” “Protect.” Also note the six holes in the front of the pedestal, which will become important in just a moment.

Indiana Jones & The Great Circle’s Most Controversial Decision Actually Makes Perfect Sense
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s first-person perspective was doubted when it was revealed, but it complements the gameplay perfectly.
Your goal here is torearrange these six Adamic fragments into a coherent sentence(or truthfully, two sentences) by clicking them in the correct order. Each time you get one right, one of the holes in the pedestal will begin to leak sand, so you can theoretically brute force this puzzle by repeatedly guessing and checking. In case you want to skip a few steps, though, the solution is as follows:
“Heed the Lord’s oath. Protect the secret of the name.”
In other words, you’ll want to interact with the photos in the following order: 2, 1, 4, 6, 3, and 5. Thankfully, Adamic uses the same sentence structure as English - lucky you. With that, you’ll have solved the Resonance Chamber puzzle, and sand will begin to flow beneath Indy’s feet. He’ll go down a short slide, and land in a new area, at the end of which waits your next puzzle inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle: the Chamber of Light.
