The Scrapyard Battle Was A Great Way To Start Reacher’s Season 3 Finale
After a more tame penultimate episode,theReacherseason 3 finale did not disappoint with its action. After realizing that the ATF agents are going to be ambushed by Quinn’s soldiers at the beginning of the episode, Reacher takes out several goons with a sniper. Because of his size, Reacher usually thrives fighting at close quarters in the series.
Reacher takes out many of Quinn’s soldiers, and the choreography for each kill is on point.
Viewers have seen Reacher take down several opponents in hand-to-hand combat. However, it was refreshing to see him eliminate enemies from a distance at the beginning of this sequence. Eventually, Reacher rushes onto the scrapyard battlefield to help the ATF agents. Susan Duffy and Villenueva also drive into the scrapyard to join the battle.
During this sequence, all the major characters get a moment to shine. Reacher takes out many of Quinn’s soldiers, and the choreography for each kill is on point. Most notably,the moment which features Reacher and one of Quinn’s soldiers walking at the same pace on either side of a wrecked car before the former kills the latter is amazing.
Reacher Season 3 Took The Show’s Overall Action Up Several Notches
The choreography and the stuntwork that is on display in this scene prove thatthe action inReacherseason 3 is much better than the show’s previous two seasons.Reacherseason 2 had a similar scrapyard battle, and season 1 had multiple gunfights, such as the burning warehouse battle in the finale. However, none of the show’s previous gunfights compare to this scene from theReacherseason 3 finale.
