Jason Momoa teases one of the classic Lobo elements that theDC Universeis adapting for his upcoming debut inSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. One of the most highly anticipated films coming out ofthe DCU’s Chapter 1: “Gods and Monsters” slateisSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, featuring Milly Alcock as the next cinematic Girl of Steel. A big addition to Kara Zor-El’s solo movie is that of DC’s Lobo, who will be played by Momoa, following his time with the DCEU franchise where he played Aquaman.

In a new interview withComicBook, Momoa briefly spoke about his upcoming version of Lobo inSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which is currently in production. When Momoa was asked about bringing Lobo’s adult language to the big-screen, the formerAquamanstar stated that“We’ve been saying fraggin’ and bastich quite a bit,”referencing the character’s famous catch-phrases from the comics.

What Jason Momoa’s Lobo Comments Mean For The DCU’s Bounty Hunter

Even though Lobo may not have been part of the originalSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrowcomic series, which this film is based on, Momoa’s addition as the DC bounty hunter is already set to be one of the more fascinating aspects to follow in the story. Whether or notMomoa’s Lobo inSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrowhas a small or big role remains to be seen. However, the actor’s commentary about how they are looking to honor as many details as possible of the DC character’s comic counterpart is incredibly promising.

Since Lobo has never gotten the theatrical treatment,Momoa - who is a major fan of the character - being the one to bring him to life has the potential to make him a breakout player in the DCU. Depending on how he gets set up inSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, having him as one of the fun reoccurring characters featured in the DCU would also let Momoa have a completely different experience compared to his time as Aquaman inthe DCEU movie timeline. If anything, it would have been more shocking if Momoa’s Lobo didn’t have the small traits like his famous cussing from the comics.
