Per the Game Developers Conference (GDC) website,EA Motive will be holding a presentation on “revolutionizing texture pipelines” that will see the studio discuss what it’s learned while “developing ‘Texture Sets’ for Dead Space, Iron Man, and more.“The talk, held by Lead Technical Artist Martin Palko, may focus on technical aspects of game development, but the spotlighting ofIron Manis interesting, suggesting the studio may finally shed some light on the game. The presentation is scheduled for March 17, so fans desperate to know more don’t have to wait much longer.

It still shocks me that we’ve yet to have a truly excellentIron Mangame sincethe character seems almost perfect for the format. Justflying around in a suit of armordestroying targets both in the air and on the ground feels like a perfect fit for most third-person shooters, so I’m hopeful that EA Motive can make it a reality. I’ve enjoyed the studio’s previous games so I’m expecting great things for its take on the Shellhead.
