Overall,it is pretty rare for a manga to involve its international audience on such a grand scale. Most character popularity polls are usually conducted within Japan, leaving international fans out of the loop. As such, the fact thatMy Hero Academiahas taken on such a grand initiative openly acknowledges its fan base across the world, which is quite a welcome change.

My Hero Academiahas received plenty of love from readers around the world over the last ten years and hopefully, its mainstream popularity means it won’t be too long until Kohei Horikoshi will not hesitate to share more of his stories with the world in the future.
