Bethesda has teased some creatures forStarfield’s upcoming DLC,Shattered Space, through its Creation portal. The Creation kit and its corresponding portal was launched as part of the game’s June 2024 update, and much like the Creation Club forSkyrimandFallout 4before it, it enabled players to use Bethesda’s supported tools to create mods for the game, with new levels, weapons, characters, outfits, and more being added. Bethesda also used it as a means toadd additional levels, such as the paid Hunter’s Alliance quest,The Vulture, although this was criticized due to its pricing and how little content was included.
As spotted by RedditorCrisisAbort,a new official Creation from Bethesda Game Studios called “Shattered Space Plushie Set” has been made available to purchase for 500 Creation points. This set lets players craft three plushies based on creatures that have “crawled out of the Vortex,” which matches the information given by the official Xbox Wire game preview aboutShattered Space’s story last week.

CrisisAbort questioned whether the plushie set Creation had been released too soon, astheShattered SpaceDLC is set to launch on June 30, 2025, as revealed during Gamescom’s 2024 Opening Night Live broadcast. However, both of the creatures included in the set have appeared in different trailers, alongside the new type of Vasco robot, so it could potentially be part of the marketing for the upcoming DLC.
As for the tease of the Vortex, it was recently revealed thatShattered Spacewould take place on the planet Va’ruun’kai, home to the mysterious House Va’ruun. However, it was also confirmed that players would not be seeing it in its full glory as Grav Drive experiments have caused mass disruption, leading to the destruction of Dazra and beyond, with other portions of the world cut off and trapped inside gravitational distortions known as Vortexes. TheShattered Spaceplushie set’s description teases that they may not be trapped for long though, with these creatures crawling out into the game’s current reality.
