A new image reveals a steamy moment fromWish You Were Here. The upcoming romance movie is the directorial debut of10 Things I Hate About Youstar Julia Stiles. It stars Isabelle Fuhrman (who previously collaborated with Stiles as co-stars in theOrphan: First Killcast) as a young woman who has a fling with a character played by Mena Massoud (who played the titled character in 2019’sAladdin) before learning that he has a terminal illness and attempting to help him embrace the final days of his life. The supporting cast also includes Kelsey Grammer and Jennifer Grey.
ScreenRantcan now sharean exclusive first-look image fromWish You Were Here. The still is from a scene where the duo is outside and seemingly about to kiss. Fuhrmann’s character has her back against the wall of what appears to be an alley while Massoud’s character draws close to her. While there is a slight smile on Fuhrmann’s lips, the connection between them seems intense and serious. See the full-size image below:

The new image is quite similar to the shot used for the poster of the movie. However, there is one key difference. The poster image forWish You Were Hereis an alternate shot that features the duo with more space between them and Isabelle Fuhrman looking upward into Mena Massoud’s eyes. In the actual still frame from the scene,her eyes are locked on his while they are standing at roughly the same level, with their lips much closer to touching.

While his recent work has leaned toward wholesome romantic comedies,Wish You Were Herehas a vein of passion running through it that accentuates the heartstring-tugging melodrama at its core.
