Joanne from Nobody Wants This has headphone on and is in front of music notes.

We’re getting a really positive response. And so I think the conversations have definitely started to happen about a potential Season 2. The story in Season 1 unfolds really slowly. And so I think if there is a Season 2 I would want to just kind of pick up where we leave off and continue to take it slow, because I don’t want us to get too far ahead of ourselves. I mean, I want my show to be on the air as long as possible!

What This Means For Nobody Wants This Season 2

There Is Great Potential For A Renewal

Foster’s comments demonstrate that she and her creative team are invested in continuing the storybeyondNobody Wants Thisseason 1’s ending. The romance is largely a slow burn in season 1, but this approach will not be abandoned in a potential season 2, as the focus will stay on carefully developing Joanne and Noah’s dynamic and how it is brought to life by Bell and Brody’s stellar chemistry. Between the creative team’s intentions and the positive reviews from critics and general audiences, there is widespread interest in seeing what is next for Joanne and Noah.

Nobody Wants This Soundtrack Guide: Every Song & When They Play

The fantastic scoring and soundtrack for Netflix’s Nobody Wants This elevate an already great rom-com, increasing the emotional depth of the story.

All of these factors are promising, butNetflix will only renewNobody Want Thisif its viewership is deemed significant enough. If it can earn a spot among Netflix’s top 10 this week and continues to stay there for the next few weeks, that will go a long way in ensuring that the romantic comedy is renewed.Nobody Wants Thismay also be helped by the fact that its production value is not as high as some of Netflix’s other series, particularly those in the science-fiction and fantasy genres.
