One Piece’sRevolutionary Armymade a bold move when many of its commanders decided to attack the home of theCelestial Dragons, where they proved their cunning and strength that was considerable enough to put evenMarine Admiralsin a tough spot. With Eiichiro Oda’s long-running series approaching its final arcs, several factions across the seas, especially the World Government and the Revolutionaries, have begun to collide.
Sabo andLuffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, belong to the Revolutionary Army, which has been working to topple the oppressive and corrupt World Government for years. Despite those two characters' substantial links to Luffy, they have played a surprisingly small part inOne Piece’s overarching plot. However, episode #1117 of Toei’s anime adaptation gave viewers a better idea ofhow strong the Revolutionary Commanders are, with extended battles of their time freeing slaves and battling Marine AdmiralsGreen Bull and Fujitora.

Marine Admirals Were Once The Pinnacle Of Power InOne Piece
One PieceAnime Episode #1117 Adapted Chapter #1083 Of The Manga
Fujitora andOne Piece’s newest Admiral, Green Bull, have proved to audiences that their strength is worthy of the titles they hold and would be more than most people inOne Piece’s world could handle. Fujitora’s considerable swordsmanship combined with his gravity-manipulating Devil Fruit and Green Bull’s (aka Ryokugyu) shapeshifting Forest powers had made short work of characters of significant strength in previous arcs. However, episode #1117 saw the rare occasion where the high-ranking officials were put on the back foot while they worked to defend the vile Celestial Dragons from particularly capable intruders.
One Piece Reveals The World Government’s Last Line Of Defense Heading Into the Series' Final Arc
Now that One Piece’s World Government has been backed into a corner, Luffy’s father has revealed what the evil organization will do next.
The coordinated attack and infiltration of the Celestial Dragons home of Mary Geoise included many of the Revolutionary Army’s most capable Commanders. While Sabo worked to sneak into the central castle, the affectionate giant Morley and Soot Logia Devil Fruit user Karasu took on the Admirals guarding the World Government’s base. Whilemost foes wouldn’t last more than a few seconds against Ryokugyu and Fujitora, the Commanders did not fall backand managed to keep the mighty Marines occupied, allowing the Revolutionary Army to rescue slaves as planned.

The Revolutionary Commanders Can Take On Admirals & Survive To Tell The Tale
One Piece’s Manga Is Written & Illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, Anime By Toei Animation
Karasu’s abilities have been stylishly displayed inOne Piece’s anime in the past, but his condensed soot crows and deadly mobility have never looked better than they did in episode #1117. While he has yet to land any considerable damage on Fujitora, he did pressure the foe enough to cause the Admiral to resort to using his gravity powers to summon a meteor to the battlefield, a less-than-optimal tactic that’s sure to cause considerable collateral damage to the Celestial Dragon’s holy home.
Morely, on the other hand, had to contend with Ryokugyu’s enormous forest man transformation, but unlike Wano’s samurai, the giant was able to hold the Admiral back without assistance and even severed one of the Admiral’s gigantic wooden arms. Under different circumstances andon another battlefield, the Marine Admirals might have fared better against the Revolutionary ArmyCommanders, but clever tactics and their notable strength proved to be enough not to allowOne Piece’s Celestial Dragons and the Admirals that they control to get their way.
