A new behind-the-scenes trailer reveals intense fight training forGladiator II.Gladiator IIpicks up years after Maximus' story began in Ridley Scott’s Oscar-winning historical epicGladiator, which was released in 2000. The trailer then transitions toexplaining the physical training that went into makingGladiator II. In one exercise, a group of men holds what look to be heavy shields while a drill instructor gives them commands. The trailer contrasts some of these training sequences with the cinematic battles that are then shown on screen duringGladiator II. Speaking on the training, Pascal mentioned “I got my a** kicked.”
