Author Rick Riordan and the stars ofPercy Jackson and the Olympianshave teased the season 2 appearance of an iconic book location at D23’s The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Following on from 2023’s critically acclaimed season 1 release,Percy Jackson and the Olympiansseason 2 is set to adapt Riordan’s second book,Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.With the protections surrounding Camp Half-Blood weakened by an attack on the tree of the demigod Thalia, Percy and his friends set out on a quest to retrieve the mythical Golden Fleece from the Bermuda Triangle (also known as the Sea of Monsters).

As part of the D23 Entertainment Showcase, for whichScreen Rantwas in attendance, Riordan, along with core cast members Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri,teased the introduction of St. Augustine Bridal Boutique, the store Grover hides in while being chased by the Cyclops Polyphemus. Despite only being about a week into production, the show’s cast suggested that “we’ve got so much more in store for you,” and hyped Grover’s imminent bridal dress fitting. They also teased the introduction of Percy’s half-brother Tyson, and a “smaller, furry, squeakier Percy,” who finds himself transformed into a guinea pig.
