Developer Kinetic Games revealed the 2025Phasmophobiaroadmap in a press release, promising many updates and events coming to the title this year. The co-op horror ghost-hunting game has been immensely popular since its release and has continued to grow and expand in the four years it’s been in existence. The game made the move to consoles late last year, and Kinetic Games plans to continue growing the scope of the title in the coming year.
According to the press release,Phasmophobiawill bring “major reworks, fresh ghost-hunting tools, and thrilling seasonal events” in 2025, making it an exciting year for fans. The developer shared aglimpse at what’s coming to the gamewith a roadmap highlighting the game’s biggest upcoming updates and events. Coming to the game this year is a new map and several map overhauls, a new ghost-hunting tool, some highly anticipated features, and more.

The first two major updates coming toPhasmophobiawill be Chronicle and a Player Character Overhaul which fans have been awaiting for a while.The Chronicle update will update the Journal to be better organized, replacing the “Photos” section with a “Media” tab that includes separate sections for photos, videos, and sound recording. This will make it much easier forghost hunters to review evidenceafter they’ve collected it since everything will now be logged.

LaterPhasmophobiaupdates will bring major reworks of the Bleasdale Farmhouse, changing its layout, giving it a visual upgrade, and even adding an outdoor, potentially haunted garden to explore. The Grafton Farmhouse will also get an upgrade later in the year, while a new small map will join the roster before the year’s end.
