Pokémon Games Are Destined To Get Worse, Not Better

As much as fans don’t want to admit it, the Pokémon games are destined to get worse as time goes on, and it’s thanks to one burdensome feature.

The five new promo cards being given away during this event are:

By completing all the missions in the event, players can collect a total of 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 20 Pack Hourglasses, 4 Shop Tickets, 200 XP, and Stardust.Additionally, players will win promo packs, Shinedust, and XP every time they defeat one of the harder decks. As a note, this event does use Event Stamina, so players can only defeat decks so many times a day for a chance at earning rewards.

Our Take: Gible Event Gives Out Some Solid Cards

The Event Isn’t Flashy, But It Still Provides Players With Something To Do

While previous Drop Events had given away a popular Pokémon as the featured Illustration Rare card, this set opted for a more subdued approach. Honestly, I think that’s a good thing since Gible goes along with Garchomp ex, one of the stronger Pokémon cards inTriumphant Light.

The inclusion of Raichu and Staraptor are both solid promo choices, as both cards have potential in other decks (Raichu, more so than Pikachu). All in all, this is a solid start forPokémon TCG Pocket’s next set and round of events leading tothe launch of Ranked Playlater this month.
