A newPokémon Trading Card Game Pocketleak is showing off a first look at some new accessories featuring a pair of iconic Pokémon.Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocketuses a variety of events to keep players logging in every day, with a variety of prizes in store for players who can complete tasks like defeating opponents or collecting certain kinds of cards. Many of these prizes aren’t promo cards (like the recentLapras ex card), but accessories tied to specificPokémonthemes.
A new leak posted to X byBRAYSH Gamingshowed off some recent rewards from an upcomingPokémon Trading Card Game Pocketevent starting on December 6th.Rewards for the event include a coin, icon, backdrop, sleeves, frame, and playmat featuring Venusaur. The frame, sleeves, and playmat all feature artwork of a Venusaur and Bulbasaur standing at the edge of a pond, while a Pidgeot flies near the pond’s surface. The artwork pairs Venusaur and Pidgeot together in an interesting way, considering the two Pokémon don’t usually appear in artwork together, even though both are from the original games.

What We Know About Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Upcoming Bulbasaur Event
Upcoming Pokémon TCG Pocket Event Will Feature Bulbasaur And Magnemite
Thanks to several recentPokémon TCG Pocketleaks, we have an idea of what the upcoming Bulbasaur-focused event will entail. The event will run from December 6th through December 20thand will focus on both Bulbasaur and Magnemite. Both Pokémon will have promo cards, as will Venusaur. What we don’t know is how players can earn these promo cards and accessories.Pokémon TCG Pockethas made no official announcement about any of these leaked events.
Pokémon TCG Pocket Confirms New Booster Packs, Trades, & More New Features Coming Soon
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket provided new details on when trading and new cards will be coming to the popular card app, along with other features.
One bit of confusion is whether the Venusaur accessories and promo card are actually tied to the upcoming Bulbasaur and Magnemite event. Venusaur is the eventual evolved form of Bulbasaur, butit seems unusual for an event to have three promo cards and a slate of accessories. For instance, theLapras ex eventfeatured promo cards only, while theMeowth and Chansey Wonder Pick eventfeatured accessories that could be earned by collecting special in-game currency.

Our Take: Give Us All The Bulbasaur and Venusaur Flair
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Continues To Impress By Spreading Love For All Pokémon
Bulbasaur is my favorite Pokémon, so any flair or accessories involving the Pokémon and its evolved forms are welcome in my book. Even if Bulbasaur isn’t your favorite Pokémon, the decision to feature Bulbasaur and Venusaur over more popular Pokémon like Charizard is an interesting one.
Charizard is not only one of the faces of the Genetic Apex set, it’s also a core Pokémon for one of the strongestPokémon TCG Pocketdecks. I love thatPokémon Trading Card Game Pocketkeeps shining the spotlight on lots of Pokémon, not just the most popular in the franchise.
