Jason’s run as a Red Ranger officially came to an end inMighty Morphin Power Rangers#100, where after defeating the Death Ranger,Jason retired from the Power Rangers. For a large portion of time, while his team cohorts continued their Ranger endeavors and hisRed Ranger uniform was given to Trini, Jason enjoyed living a normal life and, as a result, his role in the comic was significantly reduced. However, he inevitably returned to the forefront when all hands needed to be on deck for Dark Specter’s takeover of the Earth.
