InPrime, all but one of the newest Rangers are students at Angel Grove University, a military school designed to train Earth’s diverse sentient species to join the Eltarian Empire, the Earth’s de facto global government. After Eltar saved humanity from a horde of alien monsters, they have served as Earth’s “benevolent” leaders for decades. However, for those not born within the noble classes, life is oppressive and strict, with lower-class citizens facing daily harassment by the police. Hence, the need for anew team of Power Rangers, willing to stand up against the enemy that calls itself a “protector.”

Meanwhile, Jun is Eltarian, and the son of a prominent admiral. Bonding unlikely allies together is a mutual interest in the original Power Rangers, mixed with a desire to change the status quo.
