Schedule 1will receive its first major update since launching in late March. The update is currently live in a playable beta release that will be available until April 9, with the update releasing in full at a later time.
Developer TVGS, also known simply as “Tyler,” announced the impending update on theSteamNews Hub, stating in part that he plans to test allSchedule 1updates in Steam’s beta branch “for a day or two” before providing a wide release. This modelsuggests that fans may see the game’s first major update by April 11 or 12. While the beta version does not contain every feature the full update will bring, TVGS wanted to give players plenty of time to try out some more complex interfaces for the game before a wide release.

Schedule 1has captured plenty of attention since its release, allowing players to adopt the role of a drug dealer as they expand their illicit business practices in the fictional city of Hyland Point. The game currently has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam.

Our Take: Schedule 1 Continues To Improve
TVGS Is Open To Fan Feedback
Schedule 1has attracted huge numbers of fans since its recent release, and it seems the game’s popularity will only continue to grow. Developer TVGS is taking fan feedback into account while managing the exceedingly popular game on his own without the assistance of a team, and his quick response to concerns, along with his detailed plan to test updates before a wide release, prove his willingness to evolve and improve the game.
Indie developers don’t always have the easiest time reaching players and responding to feedback, and a major update being dropped so early into a release proves that TVGS is dedicated to the improvement of this project. IfSchedule 1continues to improve with carefully crafted changes that are both fan-tested and fan-approved, there’s no doubt that it will continue to grow in popularity with every update.
