Selling Sunsetis a wild ride with so many jaw-dropping moments, includingcheating allegations against the empanada entrepreneur Emma Hernan, and it’s time to look back at the series' most disturbing moments from seasons 1 to 8. At first, the Hollywood-based show seemed like a light and airy escape from the everyday. It lacked substance, but it went down so easy, just like a frothy designer coffee.Stylish, sun-soaked, and shallow, it featured stunning architecture and interior design. As the realtors clashed or experienced romantic woes, intense emotions added thought-provoking edge, giving the image-centric series intriguing depth.
Selling Sunset’s effective formula makes for streaming magic. Fashion, parties, glitzy homes and getaways provide escapists with the ideal fodder. However, it may be easier to watch than to participate. Being a part of the Oppenheim Group isn’t exactly a cakewalk.Selling Sunsetcast membersmust grab screentime, debunk nasty rumors and try to stay alive in a cutthroat industry. The O Group agents face so many challenges while they try to sell properties and “ring the bell.” Sometimes, they’re their own worst enemies.

8Emma Hernan’s Plagued With Damaging Cheating Allegations
She Denies Everything
Emma Hernan is a lithe and tanned blonde who once qualified for the Olympics.Emma’s an amazing swimmerand while she didn’t make the Olympic squad, at the O Group, she’s learned how to stay afloat in treacherous waters. Just cue the unsettling theme from the Steven Spielberg-directed classicJawsto get the general idea. At this real estate agency, there are plenty of sharks, includingthe trouble-making diva, Nicole Young. She chummed the waters by spreading a rumor that Emma was involved in an affair with someone else’s husband.
No, Emma wasn’t happy about all of this drama - why should she be? However, she was able to navigate the scandal. She denied all the allegations and called out Nicole for smearing her name. Emma wasn’t afraid to fight back when she was challenged. In general, Nicole is the one who has come out of this looking like a villain.

What’s interesting is that it’s not the first timeEmma’s been called a cheater.Christine Quinn, the cruel and icy vixen of seasons past, said that Emma slept with her boyfriend, whom Christine claimed to be engaged to.Emma denied that too. Does Emma trigger other women in some way - is she an innocent victim of mean and unsubstantiated gossip? It’s possible. However, there’s always the chance that Emma’s hiding a shadow side.
20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Emma’s slicker than someSelling Sunsetstars, including newbieAlanna Gold, who basically pretended to own Pioneertown. Alanna’s gaffe was comical. What happened to Emma is more disturbing. However, as previously mentioned, Emma can handle it, and her bestie Chrishell makes sure that the world knows what a terrible person Nicole is. To summarize, Chrishell said Nicole is:

7There Was No Selling Sunset Season 8 Reunion
The Cast Feuds Were Out Of Hand
The fallout from Nicole’s rumor-mongering was severe. Some people think Nicole’s a liar, as per theHurrdatat YouTube clip shown above. Nicole defended herself, saying that the best friend of the allegedly scorned wife confronted Emma in an un-aired scene from the latest season. However, Emma says that Nicole is a liar who knew she was spreading a false rumor the entire time. There’s a lot of bad blood here - things are a bit out of control, with Chrishell describing Nicole as a
“snake,”

, as perE Online, and saying she’ll never film with her again.
Chrishell has some power, so it’s possible that Nicole won’t return for another season. However, the soap queen Chrishell, who’s no stranger to onscreen melodrama, may secretly appreciate the wild drama. She knows that people want to watch that stuff. She appears to be very angry, but of course, she’s more than smart enough to realize thatthese types of clashes fuel the show’s success. So, Nicole may live to fight again. Yes, the reunion didn’t happen because everyone was at war, but that just creates more demand for the next installment.

6Chelsea Lazkani’s Former Husband Was Accused of Cheating Too
Jeff Was Seen “Making Out” With Another Woman
Chelsea Lazkani seemed to have the perfect life, and she didn’t hesitate to let her “healthy” ego “shine” onscreen. However, that “ideal” marriage was like a train barreling down the tracks, ready to derail. Chelsea may have seen it coming, but onscreen, she played the blindsided victim. When Bre Tiesi sat with her, sharing thecheating rumors about Jeff, who reportedly made out with a woman in a local hotel, Chelsea seemed crushed.
Later, Chelsea turned on the woman who shared the rumor… and kindly comforted her. Bre is not a bad person, and she’s constantly dealing with Chelsea’s diva attitude. Bre has been through the wringer - she dated one of the most out-of-control elite athletes around - thescandal-prone football player Johnny Manziel. Bre knows all too well how badly men can behave.
She was trying to be nice, but Chelsea turned everything around, making Bre seem like a bottom feeder who gloried in her pain.
Chelsea needs to chill out and stop offending other women.Bre seemed sincere during their chat - she seemed to care. When Chelsea later said that she set up Bre’s reveal scene to get the cheating rumors out there, it was disturbing. Sure, its understandable that she’d want her wayward husband to suffer, but what about Bre?Chelsea is the one who mom-shamed Bre. Why does Chelsea want revenge on that? With Bre, Chelsea’s inevitably the aggressor. Chelsea has some defects of character that she should fix - if she does, she'’ll be happier.
5Chrishell Stause’s Feud With Marie-Lou Nurk Was Cringe
Jason Oppenheim Probably Loved This Epic Clash
Jason Oppenheim’s a tough cookie who loves to date his stable ofSelling Sunsetbeauties - he hand-picks them and then romances his favorites. Sure, he’s a powerful man, and clearly, money talks, because the man (who’s draped in Louis Vuitton, with a red-hot Ferrari in the O Group parking lot), gets away with it. The women in question give their consent - all are grown-ups who are able to make informed decisions about their lives.
However, things can get so messy. When Jason isn’t being raked over the coals for favoritism, his exes are wildly clashing.
Marie-Lou, a young model from Europe, never seemed totally comfortable with Jason. There was an undercurrent of tension in their relationship - it was clear that Marie-Lou worried about Jason’s bond with his ex Chrishell, but she shouldn’t have. Chrishell was just over it - one hundred percent. She was actually very happy with someone else. So, when Marie-Lou started telling Jason that Chrishell wasn’t friendly, she seemed insecure and petty.
Marie-Lou was much younger than her partner. Sometimes, the insecurities of youth fade away as people get older. Chrishell and Jason are more mature because they’ve lived more years, and learned from all of their experiences. Marie-Lou is still learning. That’s one reason why age-gap relationships can be troublesome.
Marie-Lou is engaged to someone else - Jason was not the right man for her. In fact, the commitment-phobic womanizer doesn’t seem to be the right man forany woman on this earth. He’s not Mr. Right, but Mr. Right Now. He’s not going to stick around… at least, not until he seriously “ages out” of his player antics.
4Roman Bonnet Keeps Fighting His Wife’s Battles
He’s Getting Involved In His Wife’s Drama With Castmates
Romain Bonnet, a decorative Frenchman, seems devoted to his older wife Mary Bonnet, but his willingness to get involved in her feuds with other women from the show is a bit off-putting. Yes, he’s loyal, but really, Mary can fight her own battles. Before her much-younger partner came along, Mary had to deal with teen motherhood.
People should be kind to teen mothers. Having sex and getting pregnant isn’t a crime. These are the last people that anyone should judge.
Mary was only 15 when she got pregnant. She kept her baby and loved it -her son is the light of her life. Mary didn’t enjoy society’s warped perception of her value while she was a teen mom. She overcame that stigma, developing into a very attractive, warm and appealing woman. So, clearly, she can take care of herself.
Romain needs to stay out of her feuds. He may want a storyline, but this isn’t the right way to get it. If he lets Mary work through things with her castmates, he’ll seem less rude, childish and combative. Romain’s seemingly not a bad person overall. The former Wilhemina model and pastry chef is a hard worker who emotionally supports his wife. However, Mary is probably stronger than he is - she’s just a person who’s in touch with her feelings. She’s not jaded. If Mary’s hurt, she’ll let it show. That’s probably why he wants to protect her.
3Chrishell Stause Called Nicole Young A Drug User
This Was Quite A Vicious Attack
When Chrishell, who’s usually a fairly nice person, went low by accusing Nicole of using drugs at a party, it was shocking. Yes, she had issues with Nicole but maybe there was a more ethical way to get a rise out of her. The drug accusations were the types of rumors that could really damage Nicole’s career. That’s why Nicole got a drug test that proved she was clean.
However, that didn’t take away all the questions about her lifestyle, because the party happened in the past. The drug test only shows what’s happening right now. This was one incident where Chrishell went too far. It probably set the stage for Nicole’s troublemaking in the latest season. Nicole felt bullied and became a bully. Hurt people hurt people.
2Christine Quinn Said Chrishell Stause Wasn’t Blindsided By Her Divorce
Did Christine Really Know What Chrishell Was Feeling?
Christine will twist the knife if she can. She’s not afraid to make people miserable - in fact, she seems a bit sadistic. She was a great villain - a campy presence on a show where people were often a bit too diplomatic. That doesn’t mean that she’s a nice woman. To be on the receiving end of Christine’s abuse is surely unpleasant. Chrishell had to deal with that when Christine said that Chrishell’s pain over her divorce wasn’t real. She accused Chrishell of faking the whole “blindsided” thing during the latter woman’s split withThis Is Usstar Justin Hartley.
It’s not good to assume everything about another person. It’s hard to gauge how much pain someone else is feeling.Chrishell seemed crushed by her breakup, and Chrishell was letting the world know that she didn’t believe that all of that wrenching emotion was real. Christine is a cooler customer, but her own marriage was destined to implode as well. Sometimes,Sellling Sunsetbullies who metaphorically kick sand into other people’s faces get their just desserts.
1Chelsea Lazkani Mom-Shamed Bre Tiesi
Bre Tiesi Didn’t Deserve The Shade
Chelsea hit a new low when she decided to let viewers know that she didn’t thinkBre, who seems like a loving mother in the cute Instagram post shown above, should have had a baby with Nick Cannon. Nick has a lot of baby mamas and Chelsea thinks he brings too many children into broken homes. How this is her business is really anyone’s guess. Chelsea has her own life to live. However, being Chelsea, she didn’t hesitate to insert herself in Bre’s life and cause trouble. She felt entitled to express herself. Bre was rightfully offended.
Even though Bre was mom-shamed by a woman whose own marriage was destined to fail, she seemed to forgive Chelsea while revealing the Jeff cheating rumors. Then, she got kicked in the teeth again (to use a figure of speech) when Bre accused her of using the rumor reveal to get revenge. SomeSelling Sunsetcast members have seriously shady traits, and while it makes for electrifying TV, certain words and actions have undoubtedly been shameful, inappropriate, and classless.
