Deadpool Team-Up #883- 2011 - (Skottie Young and Ramon Perez)
Receiving a sweet hot rod-esque surfboard, Deadpool goes about his job getting worlds ready for their imminent demise and eventually crosses paths witha former Herald of Galactus, the Silver Surfer.Deciding he can’t stand by watching Wade continue to abuse his power, Silver Surfer takes Deadpool to task, with his enormous energy blast barely overpowering Deadpool’s own, sending Wade hurtling to the planet below. Showing off his Power Cosmic next, Deadpool throws a city-sized fireball at Silver Surfer — a mind-blowingly powerful offensive move that Surfer sends right back at Wade, effectively ending the fight.
Still having enough power coursing through him to not be immediately incinerated by his own attack, it’s interesting to see Deadpool — if only for a moment — match Silver Surfer’s Power Cosmic with a blast that would have utterly decimated anyone else. Saying, “I have much more left if you would like to continue this confrontation. But I will assure you, I will prevail in the end,” Silver Surfer forces Deadpool to resign from his post, proving that while Deadpool was stronger than he’s ever been here, he still had nothing on Silver Surfer’s might, regardless of how hard he tried.

Deadpool Displayed God-Tier Power In His Battle Against Silver Surfer
While Deadpool’s time acting as a Herald of Galactus and commanding the kind of power that matched and nearly exceeded the Silver Surfer’s cosmic strength was short-lived, there’s something to be said about Wade Wilson’s potential as a god-like being after seeing what he accomplished against a supposedly far superior foe.Deadpoolgetting a job working forGalactusproves he has the chops to take on the likes ofSilver Surfer, with the only question remaining being what other nigh-omnipotent beings Wade could take on if he had kept the Power Cosmic for a little while longer.
