Though Musk hosted back in 2021,he was lampooned in aSaturday Night Liveskitthis past weekend. In the sketch, Dana Carvey played the tycoon, wearing a black MAGA hat and saying ridiculous quotes such asm “America’s going to be like one of my rockets that’s super cool and super fun.” Musk did not take kindly to this impression, making multiple posts about it online, bashing Carvey’s impression and saying that “SNL has been slowly dying for years.” This vitriolic response is what, as per her TikTok, led Fineman to come forward.

Our Take On Musk’s SNL Appearance

Musk Is Not Likely To Be Invited Back

The decision to even have MuskhostSaturday Night Livein the first place was a controversial one when his spot was announced back in 2021. In fact, this hosting choice only seems worse in retrospect, asMusk has become a more and more contentious figure over the last few yearsthrough his takeover of Twitter and divisive political stances. It is not entirely unsurprising, then, that Musk would go on to become a tough host forSaturday Night Live, and it is safe to say that after this experience, he is unlikely to be invited back.
