I will admit, I am surprised thatBeyond the Spider-Versehas been delayed with no date yet provided by the studio. The announcement in 2021 to confirm thatAcross the Spider-Versewas being split into two films came while the feature was deep into production, with a plan for a gap of one year between the second and third films in the trilogy.This indicated that both films were being worked on concurrently.However, this has appeared less and less likely to be the case following significant delays by the studio.
Animation is incredibly time-consuming, and theSpider-Versefilms have worked hard to create a distinct and complex visual style for the series. If the films were not being worked on together, then the third film in the trilogy could still be some time away. A 2025 release, especially late in the year, is still possible at this point, butthere was also a 5-year gap between the first and second films in the series.Repeating a gap of that size is not yet out of the question.

I have faith in the creatives behind this project and await the film eagerly, whenever it releases.
