As much asStardew Valleyis about starting a new life in an idyllic seaside town, one passionate player shared a fun reminder that at the end of the day, money rules everything. When new players join the world ofStardew Valley, it can be intimidating to see veterans pull in hundreds of thousands in gold every day. Reaching that point will likely take many in-game years and dozens of real-life hours, but with enough dedication, it’s possible to rake in more cash than one would likely ever need to live in Pelican Town.

Posting to Reddit, user17966971shared images oftheir Farmer making a staggering 51 million gold in a single day.

Doing so took plenty of time and over 23,000 bottles of Ancient Fruit Wine, one of the most lucrative items in the entire game. Acquiring that many bottles of wine requires an extreme amount of patience as 17966971 admits that they were only able to accrue the stock thanks to their “monkey brain hoarding,” and given the fact that they’re in Year 7, they’ve clearly been holding onto the product for quite some time.

It’s Fun To Break Stardew Valley

But It’s Hardly Necessary

Stardew Valley’s gameplay loop is known as one of the most satisfying on the market asit’s constantly rewarding players' patience and diligence with fresh upgrades and improvements. Earning a colossal payday of 51 million gold is certainly an excellent achievement that was no doubt fun to see in action, but players shouldn’tfeel the need to replicate it. Gathering up a massive collection ofAncient FruitWine is the kind of challenge users take on whenthey’ve completed everything else on offer.

Stardew Valleyis great at both incentivizing players with new goals while never making those objectives feel unobtainable. The most expensive item in the game, The Gold Clock, comes in at 10,000g and Farmers are only expected to drop that kind of cash after they’ve finished up practically every other upgrade. Newcomers shouldn’t feel pressured to hoard as much money as possible; Just spend it onthe things that sound usefuland look ahead to the next investment.

Screen Rant’s Take: Stardew Valley Has Some Of The Best Players

One Can Only Hope It Never Changes

What makes theStardew Valleycommunity so specialis how they react and respond to fellow fans. It’s great to see 17966971 share such an incredible achievement and receive the praise they deserve rather than dealing with snide comments from other players. As a massive fan of the game,I’m encouraged to know that the vast majority of fans are eager to uplift one another; That’s certainly very different from most other video game fandoms.
