The world of Stardew Valley includes a lot of otherworldly elements, but certain aspects of the game still don’t make sense even in a fantasy setting.

How To Unlock F.I.B.S. in Stardew Valley

Small Chore, Big Reward

While it certainly seems strange to unlock something like a television channel inStardew Valley, accessing the F.I.B.S. requires players to complete a small request.A particular Special Order posted by Pam titled “The Strong Stuff” asks players to deliver 12 Potato Juice in 14 days, a task that can be daunting depending on one’s stock of the vegetable. Those who complete the Special Order are rewarded with 3,000g,250 friendship points with Pam, and a brief cutscene at the characters' trailer.

That’s not all though as the day after the aforementioned cutscene, players will wake up to discover a letter from Pam asking if they’ve ever looked into Channel 736. From this point on, the F.I.B.S. is available on every player-owned television, which is an incredibly powerful upgrade for anyonelooking to improve their fishing skills. Being able to quickly determine the best place to catch a seasonal fish without leaving the game to scope out a Wiki is a massive boon.

Stardew Valleymay be nearly a decade old butthat doesn’t mean the community has uncovered every secret hidden in the game. The Farming RPG is massive and while players have spent thousands of hours scouring Pelican Town for secrets and Easter eggs, there’s probably still plenty to unearth. One can only imagine how much more there’ll be to discover if the much-requested 1.7 Update ever comes to fruition.
