When he couldn’t come up with it, he went to borrow the money from dangerous people who were going to kill him if he didn’t give them what he owed. Given his predicament, he had no choice but to find his wife.

Since Sophie and James seemed to be on somewhat good terms after he went with her to see her mother’s old friend, she decided to give him the money so he could pay back his debt. While the two shared a sweet moment,James hasn’t forgiven Sophie since he stole the password for her safe when she wasn’t paying attention. Whether James plans to leave after getting back his money or will remain and protect Sophie remains to be seen.
