GOOF
We all make BOO-BOOs and mistakes ormake a GOOF at inappropriate times, like when I started laughing to stop myself from crying. We all should know that different people react to these situations in different ways, but usually most people despite this often feel embarrassed. However, it is a good thing if you do, as it proves we aren’t quite living under the full reign of AI just yet.

With summer in full swing,flowers are still abundant- at least in places that have received enough water. Fortunately, I am not currently living somewhere in a drought and we receive a lot of rainfall to keep these pretty flowers alive.
Unless, of course, the opposite happens and we are actually receiving too much rainfall for the flowers to handle. Interestingly enough, at least two of these flowers are associated with the idea of death or eternal sleep as well as just being flowers.
POLLINATE
STING
This one was a little interesting, as it felt like POLLINATE could easily end up with the flowers if it wanted too. Bees also take care of the flowers, which I liked as acategory connection between the two.
It is nice to see a couple of themed categories in the same puzzle together, particularly when the words are still different enough that they are distinguishable but fun to put together and think about. This is one of the small joys ofConnectionsthat I look forward to seeing happen.
MICKEY
YOGI
It’s the dreaded sports category of the day! While some of you may get very excited when you see a sportsball category, my interest in most sports begins about a day before the Olympics and ends a day after.
So, with my interest fully zoned out for another two years, I was definitely a little tripped up by this category. The good thing about the purple category is that its difficulty often meansyou can just pick the last four words and know that they are correct.
