With less than a week until the launch ofPalworld’sFeybreakupdate, developers Pocketpair, Inc. have revealed that they’ll be teasing new content for the update every day until it’s out. Announced during The Game Awards 2024,Feybreakalso serves asPalworld’s winter update, including new Pals, new devices, and new things to be built. We only got to see a small slice of the update in its TGA trailer, but Pocketpair is providing a much closer look at its new features leading up to its December 23 release.
Pocketpair’s community manager, who goes by Bucky in the officialDiscord, recently announced thatmembers of the server will receive updates on the new content coming in theFeybreakupdatevia daily pings. Their message linked to a post on thePalworldX (formerly Twitter), account, featuring a short video of a Depresso running on what appears to be a Pal-sized hamster wheel.
Since the wheel is hooked up to several other gears in sequence, culminating in a lit bulb, it looks likethis wheel may be a new way to generate electricity in theFeybreakupdate. But whatever it is, and however players can expect it to work, it’s generated a lot of discussion about potentialnew features in theFeybreakupdate- and what may appear next onPalworld’s social media channels.

Based on this first update, it’s likely thateach daily post will focus on a minor aspect of theFeybreakupdate. With all thenew features announced in the masive expansion, there should be plenty of little details to draw upon. The first update prominently features a new piece of machinery; the next might focus on a new Pal, a new structure, or a new location fromFeybreak’s massive map.
Of course,this first post is deliberately cryptic- it really just advertisesPalworld’s ongoing sale prices, alongside a video showcasing a new aspect of the update, leaving players to draw their own conclusions. Future updates will likely work similarly, requiring keen eyes and ears to detect what’s new and what it’s used for.

What’s Next For Palworld?
Even though we’re less than a week away fromFeybreak,we’ve still seen relatively little of what’s been universally advertised as a massive update, dwarfing even Sakurajima. The sole trailer released was short, and spent more than half its runtime on cinematics. While these were also somewhat revealing, they’re not quite as earth shattering as the few gameplay moments we’ve been permitted to see.
That’s where these daily updates come in:they expand on the sparse gameplay we’ve already seen, dishing out reveals in bite-size social media posts instead of a massive, bloated trailer. They let players know what to look out for in the update, and arguably give each of its new features more room to breathe.
It’s also just good marketing forFeybreak. With how simple the first reveal is, I can’t wait to jump into the update and learn how all the new features work. Unfortunately, like otherPalworldfans, I’ve got six more days to wait - but these updates will keep me guessing in the meantime.
