Following a year and a half wait,Outer Banksseason 4 part 1 is finally hitting Netflix on June 03, 2025. The hit teen drama brings back John B and the Pogues for yet another treasure hunt, following their successful adventures surrounding the Royal Merchant in season 1, the Cross of Santo Domingo in season 2, and El Dorado inOuter Banksseason 3’s ending. This time around, the Pogues are being recruited tohelp find valuable artifacts related to the famous pirate Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, around the Outer Banks.
Outer Banksseason 3 was released on Netflix in February 2023, so it’s been quite some time since the teens’ last treasure hunt. Notably,Outer Banksseason 3 ended with an 18-month time jump after thePogues collected the gold from El Dorado, so the gap between their dangerous adventures generally aligns with the real-world gap between seasons. However,Outer Banksseason 4’s story will bereleased on Netflix in two parts, with the first batch dropping on the streaming service on June 21, 2025.

The final five episodes will wrap up the Pogues’ hunt for Blackbeard’s valuable artifacts and solve some of the mysteries introduced in season 4, part 1. So far,Outer Banksseason 5 hasn’t been confirmed by Netflix, but it seems likely that the Pogues will be able to find yet another treasure-hunting adventure after Blackbeard.
