Meanwhile, Elaida (Shohreh Aghdashloo) is planning to cage the Dragon Reborn, leading to a deeper schism between her and Siuan (Sophie Okonedo). She’s also still trying to influence Rand, something that might also get addressed now that her dream storyline is moving forward. With everyone trying to influence the Dragon Reborn in various ways, though, the trailer leaves his own perspective on his path a mystery.

It’s also clear that many different parties with their own interests have different perspectives on him, some trying to use him while others are trying to capture him.
